Just saw this. Personal recommendations: Hanneke Cassel, the Swedish band Vasen, Alasdair Fraser/Natalie Haas, a good student of Casey's is a young guy named Mike Barnett (who you can hear doing sweet chop stuff with the Deadly Gentlemen), of course Rushad Eggleston on the cello. I also recommend a young fiddle/cello duo Ari and Mia Friedman. Alex Hargreaves is another young guy doing some work with the chop particularly in performances with Sarah Jarosz.

Also should mention that Rushad Eggleston used to be in the band Crooked Still, and the current choppers, Brittany Haas and Tristan Clarridge (on fiddle and cello respectively) are badass (though not quite measuring up to Rushad's manic virtuosity). Another guy doing interesting chop stuff is a guy named Andy Reiner out of Boston, playing with the band Blue Moose and the Unbuttoned Zippers. Plays a Silakowski 5 just like Casey. Brittany and Mike play them as well. Very awesome instruments.

Sadly (or perhaps excitingly?) this chop fiddle stuff is still in its infancy with only a handful of people really exploiting it to its potential. If you know of anybody else working on this stuff I should watch, please let me know.
