  • @ruger50 you know what ruger, i know several of these guys who did come home with PTSD whether they will admit it or not

  • @keithyoung10 keith sorry for the dumb comment but i read a report that said most of the brit soldiers that go to the sandbox some of them hardly come home with PTSD and i know that some of our vet are discharged for PTSD which really sucks but i pray to god when i get deployed i hope the 12 or 14 months im there im just baby sitting till we pull out

  • the old man was like, "OMG this kids nowadays, too much CoD and BF"

  • haha look that old man is walking easyly and the soldeirs are hidding

  • Those Guys Are Laughing And Shit Makes Me Wanna Go Join..Good Job

  • He is laughing at the taliban

  • @The Connoe actually it is a fact. Voted the best looking in the world.

  • Im seeing woods MARPAT im seeing ACU what is this a joint op? HELL YEAH!

  • lucky lads u almost had it when that rocket hit lol keep up the good work

  • i think this takes place in the korengal i saw a photo journel with the man in the video standing in it, it said he was a recon marine. dont know how true that is but thought id share it.

    hoooooah

  • All I see is a bunch of RAD dudes stuck in a shitty spot!

  • This is what is called, Dicking the Dog.

That lieutenant at 01:10 stands limp & exposed, skylarking. This understrength squad is kneeling bunched-up in a Kill Zone, under 180 degrees of partizan observation.

1 short burst of a 12.7 HMG would go through all of them with multiple hits per each API bullet. A little more range on that RPG at 03:31, and shrapnel would have taken them all down with nobody left to carry them out of drag them to cover.

  • Shouldn't the Squad Leader of this understrength squad possess a pair of high impact binoculars? Hello, anyone... Buler, buler..... Anyone with a brain, watching in horror at this massive disaster looking for a time & place to happen?

The partizans are running a series of outposts across those razor backs. They live there. They have fought & died there. Have had plenty of victories across amost 3 dozen centuries.

America is headed to a Horns of Hattin.

  • Marines and army in combat.. awesome

  • lmao when the guy had his gun and helmet using it as a decoy lol

  • are those marines, plain army infantry or rangers? i cant tell

  • Comment removed

  • @CaptnxKnuckles Army. look for the camo patterns. Marines have a browner looking desert cammo and wear mostly coyote brown gear (FLC, Assault packs etc.) Army wears ACU pattern or Multicam with predominantly ACU/multicam (if in multicam uniform) pattern gear (sometimes black or olive). A lot of ranger units, from what ive seen, ditch the helmet cover and paint their buckets tan.

another way to tell is by patches. Army typically wear unit patches and IR reflective patches. Marines do not.

  • @poopmadoo It's army regulars with Marine SOF. They've been puting Army SF with Marines and Marine SOF with Army. I assume it's because regular unit commanders and SgtMaj's are less inclined to push around members of other branches. You probably got confused because the Marines are wearing woodland camies.

  • @CaptnxKnuckles i take back everything i said. haha i see marines and army in here....

  • @poopmadoo haha yeh i noticed that too...thats why i got confused because the one soldier has an army patch and the other has marine uniform

  • @CaptnxKnuckles Well i know its not umcommon for army translators or forward observers to be embedded with marines or vice versa. A buddy of mine was with 2ID out of ft lewis and he was embedded with marines in iraq in 05. Maybe it was a joint mission or something.

  • @CaptnxKnuckles Its not uncommon for army to be embedded with marines or vice versa. judging by the unshaven appearance and ragtag uniform/gear it could be special forces with regular army. From my experience with those guys... they really dont give a fuck. they pretty much do what they want and say "fuck you" when told otherwise.

  • @poopmadoo lol sound like an awesome bunch

  • Its good to see our tax dollars being well spent i wonder how much bullets cost or if you shoot this many at nothing do you get a discount

  • @me4u They aren't shooting at nothing. They are gaining fire superiority and suppressing the enemy so that another element can maneuver on the enemy. Talk about stuff you don't know about and one day you'll end up with your foot in your mouth.

  • @charlieyousuck They are getting themselves damn near killed, is what they are doing. I don’t see the behavior of a Squad Leader anywhere in evidence. I don’t see a proper pair of binoculars, either. Dead men walking, is what we are seeing here.

  • @centurion180ad Who needs binos when you have 3 or 4 power optics? The only guys in my battalion that carry binos are FST's. The binos that we have are only 4 power so what's the point of having that when you can use your ACOG or a magnifier for your Aimpoint or EOTech? Useless piece of gear as far as I'm concerned (in most situations). I'm pretty sure if the LT was taking direct fire he wouldn't be standing in the open.

  • @charlieyousuck A good pair of field binoculars are 7 to 10 power, provide a panoramic field of view, and provides a natural depth perception because a leader is able to use both eyes to fix on a target down range.

The field of view of a scope is very limited, fatiguing and its light collection ability SUCKS.

Exit pupils of binoculars are large enough to allow effective use in all but pitch blackness, and the lens coatings on large objective lenses are much more effective.

  • @centurion180ad Right, you said it, good binos. Like I said "the ones they give us" are only 3 or 4 power. Maybe you would go spend $250-400 on a good pair of binos but I'd rather spend my money on good boots, better mag pouches and more pouches for 40mm grenades and just use my 4 power ACOG (but that's just me). My job is to shoot things and the better I can move and the more ammo I can carry, the better job I tend to do. I've called for indirect fire with my ACOG so it works for me.

  • @charlieyousuck That you have been trained that binoculars are next to useless, alarms me. The only argument against carrying them is weight, as a canteen full of priceless water or a trio of hand grenades could be a substitute for them.

If that zombie LT in the video had taken //any// direct fire, he'd have been KILLED outright making this a snuff flick. As it was that RPG near miss damn near killed or wounded all 7 of them. This video is a clear cut example of piss poor training.

  • @charlieyousuck well the last time I checked the enemy are old untrained men who are not even part of an organized army and if this is what is needed to surpress them then lmao clearly the all the retards have going for them is their arms and air support (not brains) on an equal footing with the Iraqi's they would get their a**ses kicked

  • @me4u You have obviously never been to Afghanistan and should keep your opinions to yourself and let warriors worry about how to fight them. I've been twice and I can tell you that they are not old and not untrained. These men that we are fighting have been fighting a continuous war since the mid 60's and the younger generations have known nothing but war their entire lives. They are not stupid and they know how to fight...and they know how we fight.

  • @me4u lol old untrained.... you need to get your head out of the "we are awesome, they are monkeys" TV show sometime. Soldiers who face other soldiers tend to have more respect for their enemy then kids who play too much COD.

  • @me4u Furthermore, you need to stop playing COD, kid. When you get shot at, your sole purpose in life is to stop them from shooting at you more. Amazingly, if the fire is massed and accurate you will get behind something that stops bullets...GUARANTEED! That is what they are doing. And if there's nothing to get behind you'll either run away or make yourself as small as possible.

  • @charlieyousuck

    >implying we ever maneuver to actually close with the enemy

This isn't a videogame, or a field manual. There are no real combat objectives here, but to stay alive. Aggressively maneuvering is for the birds, as everyone wants to come home. They just let loose and make the talis run away to live another day...if they want to keep playing, then air cover will take care of them...

This is not "war" this is Police Occupation with really big guns. :p

  • I love the "Oh here we go again" look on funny-man's face around 3:24 towards the right of the screen.

  • I love the "Oh here we go again" look on funny-man's face around 3:24 towards the right of the screen.

  • Good to know they're still calm even though they're in a situation like this. I'd be scared shitless if I was there. Gotta admire their raw courage. :D

  • lol, i like how theyre all hiding and that old man is just walking around

  • @lukakiwi "*waves* Oh hai guiz whatcha doin? Firefight? oh no! Well I don't let dem bullets I think ima stand over here so's i dont get shot"

    That dude is CHILLAX

  • @MAKEaCRAWLER ya your right but the average taliban are pussies they just shoot from like a mile away and hide and run away in there caves after they fire a few shots the more experience trained taliban are different they get closer and don't retreat as easily as the civilian who just put a rag on his head and picked up and ak or rpg

  • @TaskrHD Yeah but we all gotta admit they're pretty smart, i mean, if you were in a thin robe, and had an old AK-47, then you looked at the US military... I think I'd stay QUITE a distance away as well, lol

  • @55varian ya thats true but most of there tactics are really hit and run they don't have to much organization but that is a good thing for us but even tho they have pussie tactics they are brave like they know damn well that any second we could drop a 1000 pound jdam on there heads or hellfire stikes, A10 strafing rounds who knows im give em credit for being brave for even attempting to attack our troops but at the same time i think there pussies cause lol i ran out of characters damn

  • @55varian because if there going to attack atleast see the fight through don't run into some cave 50 miles into a mountain

  • the camera always makes everything look so far away its kinda annoying lol

  • @sarsfieldusmc.....american soldiers/marines are some of the best trained fighting forces in the world, not including special forces. Also I didnt see the part where the us marines were crying to their mommies.

  • Oh i love it.

British Soldiers laughing under fire=Their sooo brave!!!

American Soldiers/Marines under fire=Their untrained, uneducated brutes who cry to their mommies.

  • I know it really does not matter but I was wondering at what range our troops are being engaged? 200 meters 400 meters?? just curious if are troops can actually see who they are shooting at.

  • is that Marine Recon?

  • @lvrpatriot01 Yes Marsoc operators

  • @prayforplauges100 Nope, its a joint US Army/Marine Corp patrol. More than likely during the transition period when the Army was taking over some Corp areas.

  • I like how their making fun of the taliban and the attitude is like same shit different day they handled it pretty well.If you were making fun of me while I was shooting at you that would piss me off too :D

  • Haha 3:37

  • this is the Korengal valley

  • @ktyrugby Restrepo!!

  • why does it sound like their shooting paintball guns

  • @birdybirds The camera's microphone can't take how loud the guns are or something.

  • @birdybirds Little known fact about the Army.. They don't give us real bullets. Shhh OPSEC

  • @birdybirds distances from the mic in the camera and the way the soldiers are firing

  • shoot thoes towel heads!

  • i guess that was a mix of marine and army ? i saw both uniforms

  • Lots of ammo, love it!

  • You have the promise of Jesus: Matt.26: 52 “Put your sword back in its place,” Jesus said to him, “for all who draw the sword will die by the sword.

Go ahead and die... after death the judgement...

  • Pretty sure that Marine wearing the MICH is FR. I think I have seen him before...I recognize his face and the dip.

  • Comment removed

  • what was that at 3:51?

  • I see MARPAT, I see ACU, I see Multicam. Army and Marines working together, I never thought I would see the day XD.

  • @zachsemperfi haha yeah. I have no problem with the army because they are both important... but the army really messed up with the current acu. it is not very good camo, neither is its replacement. and the usmc dress blues are also much better looking then the army's dress uni. just an opinion though. semper fi

  • @TheConnoe Agreed, the only thing you're gonna blend in with while you're wearing ACU is Grandma's couch, Hehe.

    semper fi

  • @TheConnoe the new ocp's we are currently wearing are actually a very good replacement, the blend is way better.

  • Jesus said ' every word coming out of your mouth you will be judged for...along with your actions. If you think you will not be held accountable by God for what your doing think again. Life is not about fun its about learning who you have become in light of Gods direction in it.

  • @frnz444 Who Cares What They Say? They're Fighting For Their Lives.

Give Them The Fucking Credit They Deserve For Serving Our Country.

  • I'm too old but I would be with you. Amitiés for US Army.

  • multicam eh

  • @AmphibiousReconMSOB

MARPAT and ACU...this is a joint COB.

  • believe me, if you cant make fun of it, then the stress will get to you

  • OMG!!! Was that an rpg at 3:50? And im assuming that was sniper fire afterwards. Am i correct???

  • I like the Calm Guy at 3:36: "Honestly...what are you shooting at?"

  • This all reminds me of the Vietnam comment: In order to save the village, we had to destroy it".

We'll never achieve anything in Afganistain (sic) by this method of having hillbilly farm boys blast away at savages from the 7th century.

  • That sound like a cobra there at the end

  • what was that flash from?

  • effing campers! haha just kidding.

  • okay places like here i dont know why they dont use more air support to get them to find where the gunfire is coming from and help eliminate it or atleast let them know where there coordinates are and shit. at that point your just waisting bullets

  • @idkson61

Hey man we still use CAS, but you aren't considering everything that is going on. You gotta think about the ROE and the situation at hand. You can't call in a fuckin JDAM for 2 insurgents and considering the village, it might be labeled as a No Fire Area or Restricted Fire Area not allowing bombs. However, if you pay attention, you can hear the RTO at the end calling in 120mm Mortars. Not a bad troops in contact there; if anything you would call in Close Combat Attack: Helos.

  • The soldiers are trained for this stuff. They are risking their lives to save the citizens of our beautiful country United states of america.. Most of the soldiers are put in the worst spots in afganistan , Like kornel valley. where you can be shot by the taliban from any direction and are contantly on the look out .

    GOD BLESS THE Soldiers

  • Where was this at? Korengal?

  • @Semperfi1221

Lol, you must have just watch Restrepo. It's the only spot a lot of people know only because of that movie.

Troops are no longer in that valley.

  • @VillainsKillHeroes Its lot like I can tell when this was filmed. I know they left, hell it said so in Restrepo I think. I also know of the Korengal from Darack and Luttrell's book...It could be any valley but I was just throwing it out there.

  • @Semperfi1221 haha. It could be. =P I just laugh at all the kids that have seen that movie and act like Korengal valley is the only spot in Afghanistan.

  • all you dumb fucks sayin dumb shit about about them not bein serious... to you its an omg! its cod in real life! to us as actual soldiers, thats just a job to us, its seriously nothing more then a job most people rather critisize then do... thats like seein a video of a car mechanic jokin around while hes doin an oil change, theres no difference if its a car that probly wont fall on you or terrorists that arent even shooting at you, its the same concept!

  • mam nadzieję że wszyscy z Nich żyją...

  • all you need is a gunner copter. in COD black ops, it works.

  • @demize141 dont comment video game shit on real life shit, go play your games

  • @demize141Dont base games on real life warfare, go play your game kid. Plus, choppers are expensive, its too risky of an open area like that to use air support.

  • They don't seem to care what is after death... is that not in basic training?

  • you can tell by their swearing these are evil men. One way to get rid of them...

  • @frnz444 Hey, I swear. My dad swears. My mom swears. MY neighbors swear. I guess we should be put to death then

  • @frnz444 You can tell they are evil because they swear? Are you a f*cking moron?

I can tell you are evil because you adhere to an artificial morality, since you cannot objectively and rationally distinguish between right or wrong. Thus you memorize artificial rules and arbitrary tenets like "no swearing.

  • I miss afghanistan

  • did i just see marines fighting along side the army?

  • @Vettejocke You seem shocked? Did you know the Air Force fights with the Army?

  • Having a good time doesn't meal you should sacrifice basic soldier skills.

  • @BOBC82 have you been in combat?

  • Just because they are laughing and cracking jokes, doesn't mean that they lack discipline. If they were stiff asses about everything, this life would be a lot harder on them. Sometimes its good to be lighthearted. As long as they aren't losing focus or making stupid decisions. TO YOU CIVILIANS WHO ARE CRITICIZING THEM, THEY ARE TRAINED FOR THIS. HOW ABOUT YOU LEAVE THE FIGHTING UP TO THEM? I'M SURE THEY ARE MORE QUALIFIED THAN YOU AND YOUR MW2 TRAINING.

  • @stllopez314 yea they're gonna go into combat with a xbox control and some Twinkies riding on a couch.

  • @stllopez314 F UUUUU

  • People just dont understand unless they have been in a situation like that.

  • @stllopez314 my favorite part was when you said mw2 training i was laughing for like 5 min

  • @stllopez314 No shit, they could at least play Bad Company 2...

I agree with everything you said though, don't mind my very very tiny joke. Great footage too.

  • @stllopez314 Hell, we always cracked jokes. Sometimes, you have to cut the tension. There is no way to be effective if you can't center your emotions and think straight. Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast. Hurrying decisions and actions lead to dead bodies.

  • @stllopez314 Well put sir!!

  • @stllopez314 its good to see that they are staying positive even though they are in stressful situations. :)

  • @stllopez314 Agreed Im not in the military but alot of my family is and I cant tell you how many times ive heard them say things like that to civilians who criticize them. There was a guy that told my cousin in walmart that he should get out of the USMC because of how bad they treat there troops.and they didnt train them well enuf. Considering hes coming of his 4th tour i think he would know about the corp by now. He told the guy that he was right and would play MW with him when he got out XD

  • i LIKE THIS OLD MAN IN WHITE... thinking about htis war and the nonsense of it maybe...

  • @sietepeo1 you're a moron

  • @Alexalfaro08 And you a donkey cumt

  • soldier laughing in combat reflect a lack of dicipline among the troops

  • @sietepeo1 ok so you go over there months at a time and stay in full military soldier mode

  • @MrCallofdutyMrmaster OK man that sound a honorable thing for me.War was made for men with balls and I consider myself one like that SIR no body will live forever.

  • @sietepeo1 who the fuck are you to say anything? Plz tell me.

  • @macgc4 of course you are the only one had seen combats the last eleven years, yeah crap

  • that mountain look 5000 meters far aways ,really rough terrain

  • @sietepeo1 You do understand 5000 meters is approximately 3 miles, do you not? More like 1000 - 1500 meters.

  • i just peed a lil haha

  • honestly what are you shooting at! lmao

  • launghing and everything xD look like you guys dont care about anything :P its a facking firefight man1

  • RAMIREZ! CLEAR THOSE HILLS!

  • @TheJokersAdvocate96 With that spoon!

  • I love how chill they all are with bullets wizzing around em

  • @sculean lmao i wanna be like them!i would probably run like fucking hell screaming! sad but true, i hope i dont do this when im in the army, well if i make it at least

  • @ccmanmonc Well some man are born brave, others become so through training and then their are people will never be brave even through training, if you honestly feel your the third kind then maybe the army isn't for you :\

  • @sculean what else you suppose to do?

  • Was that an incoming RPG round at 4:00?

  • @rdv064 Ragtag insurgency? These are fighters, in their homeland, that already spent years and years fighting againts the USSR, they are hardened fighters who know the terrain like the back of their hand.

  • sounds like popcorn

  • @fdation O_O popcorn rounds? that's some serious ammuntion XD

  • no i got comfirmation this is the video. those weren't explosives. those were armor piercing incendiary rounds. and that's U.S. snipers. i still may have gottne the location wrong but this is friendly fire.

  • Colder than a brass toilet seat in the Yukon in them hills

  • Ha do you see that villager he comes out in the middle of a firefight "hey whats up guys!"

  • @misteryman765 that's not a villager, that's one of the village "elders" as his beard indicates. and for everyone else this isn't a video of U.S. VS Taliban...this is what happens when snipers get the wrong info and open fire on their own troops.

  • @thegrayangel95 how do u know were u there no.

  • @conza410 how do you know? do i know you? no. and no i wasn't there captain obvious. i never said i was. and as a matter of fact i'm done talking to you.

  • @thegrayangel95 u said that this isn't video of the US vs Taliban well who else do u think it is u fucktard

  • @thegrayangel95 this is not friendly fire

  • @misteryman765 i may have gotten videos mixed up. were you there? and if so isn't this somewhere near dallas? i knew a guy who got into a firefight near there...spc young.

  • @thegrayangel95 What???

  • @misteryman765 yes they are being shot at by u.s. snipers. it was info gone wrong...but the guy who was there never explained how they didn't recognize that they were firing on u.s. soldiers (possibly the way they were dressed)

  • @thegrayangel95 i still doubt that because us soldiers look nothing like the taliban...

  • @misteryman765 this isn't the first time something like this has happened. you can doubt it all you want but this is what i say it is. there were u.s. snipers in this area and they knew it was their snipers. and even though this probably isn't the case the taliban have raided U.S. bases before. and i can almost guarantee that the taliban don't have armor peircing incendiary rounds (3:49) and they even say that it may be friendly fire because they know taliban don't have that kind of ammo.

  • @thegrayangel95 you still dont know if it was, it could have been anything. i do hear distinctive small arms fire rounds going off at around 6:27...

  • @misteryman765 i know an armor peircing incendiary round when i see it. the snipers were probably "having fun" and decided to use them. i've been in the military for almost 2 years now and i know my ammo. besides the snipers aren't always going to be alone and may have SAW, or other automatic weapons) they probably didn't expect this to happen (small arms fire could be from these guys or it could be from the snipers support) ur pretty dense arent you?

  • @thegrayangel95 Didn't look like API to me either. I've fired a bunch of API .50's and they have a hell of a lot more delivery and blast propagation than that round showed. And it would have knocked the hell out of those rocks, and it didn't knock the hell out of them. All due respect, brother, but I think it was a smaller round blowing up on the rocks.

  • @thegrayangel95

At 3:49 that is not an API round. That is not what the "splash" of an API round looks like...and that is coming from someone who has fired them regularly.

That looks more like a 25mm HE round impact, which is something that would see from the Bushmaster....which would not be firing on these troops since the vehicles that fire them are not in the mountains. So...i am going to guess that it is a 22mm Russian round commonly fired by a certain AP weapon the Taliban had stockpiles

  • @MAOfights i've never seen them fire that kind of round...T_T i need to research ammo more. but still my other points remains valid. thnx for clearing that up. and good luck in the suck (if ur still there)

  • @misteryman765 4:12 "was that friendly?"

  • I like to see Marines and Army working together!

  • Marines fuckin' rock!

  • god this looks soo awsome i want to get in there and fight

  • @Blaker2013 Grow up.

  • looks like some army guys with him.. hmmm joint ops?

  • Semper Fi Show the fucking Taliban what an ass-whooping is Hoorah!

LCPL. Taylor U.S. Marines 3rd Battalion 3rd Recon company

  • they are rocking the new Multicam uniforms!!

  • Killing people is overrated

  • Much Respect to our Military

    We Love Yall

    Come Home Soon

  • high pitched popping is enemy and lower is friendly? That's a lot of enemy fire lol.

  • Good footage. Where has all the real footage from Iraq gone?

  • whats the difference between the Navy, the Army, and the Marines?
