@CBRSIXPACK hah sorry had to laugh at the 4c being cold.(it's april and we had -4 last night) but I can handle cold don't like it past -20. but i can't handle that heat it would probly kill me. your crazy for working in that we had a techer from aus she said no hat no play that true? i even have to wear a soaked scarf in +25C haha
Yeah its common sense to wear a hat in the heat.You work your day job in the heat ,so panning in it isnt a problem ,I dont recomend using a metal detector in 40*c +,thats not very nice lol lol
you suk you dont have the right motion when backing the black sand your ment to slowly move your pan back and forth to unciver the gold all together without having it all scatterd... dunno if i spelt "scatterd right :P
how about digging a little wooden stool into the gravel next to you so you can give your poor back a break? just an idea? - ive never even tried gold panning but id love to!
If I find black sand under regular,sand, should I pan there or under a small waterfall?

we pan all year round in Aussie from 45*C in Summer to 4*c Winter.Yeah thats cold & the water is like Ice,but the next pan keeps you going...........
