@abaseraserhead health ain't hipster. but yeah, i listen to a shitload of indie. sure all of the bands dress like total fruitcakes, but its better than having to endure fucking linkin park, rise against, shinedown, etc.
Ugh. I was at this show. I couldn't stop laughing while they were on stage. Honestly, it just sounded like noise, and whoever that guy center stage was just looked like a fool.
There was a time when NIN was exciting enough to inspire such laughter, but for the last ten years or so they've been putting out the same record that tools keep buying so they can feel safely rebellious.
artfully crafted noise and raw synth, haunting monotone vocals, drum skills that are borderline insane and a bassist that really can't get over himself
The funny thing is, I was at this show and didn't realize they played this until I heard the boo'ing. I bought one of their shirts that night after I Benjamin (singer) threw up his hood and left stage and later sat on the aisle seat with who seemed to be his parents (I was on the aisle seat on the row over so the railing was separating us)
I was at this show in GA on the right stage about 3 people rows back. I was one of the many people who thought Health sucked, apparently a horrible garage band from LA. The only person w/ talent was the drummer IMHO.
I agree with you bro... I went to this concert also. I couldn't stop laughing when the bassist/guy-randomly-dancing did that high-pitched scream at the end. XD
I'm with you both. They opened for NIN in Greensboro. The guitar only played about 3 notes the whole time, all screeching. By the end I thought my ears were bleeding. Luckily, soon after NIN came on to clear my mind of the horror.
def iv never seen a band get boo-ed of stage lol the drummer was alright but i wanted to knock that kid out with the long hair... screamin like alil girl at the end
This band may be good on cd.. but seeing them support Crystal Castles, was the most horrific thing I've witnessed. They are awful live.

once you get past your basic mainstream alternative rock douchebag phase you'll understand why health is the shit.

i've never cared for mainstream alternative rock. but you're free to assume that i like it in order to rationalize your indie hipster lifestyle

yeah, they're just as bad as health. why not just listen to GOOD music instead fo choosing between the lesser of two evils?

@abaseraserhead how can anyone who like NIN think HEALTH's music is terrible?

Half of the vocals are missing on Die Slow?

I think this was the song in the early stages of writing. Cuz they wrote most of Get Color during this touring period..well that's what I've read.

Whats the name of the song that starts at 5:00? I bought their cd's after the show, is it a new track for their next album?
Ryley9w 2 years ago
I think it is called Die slow and it is really not on their self-titled album
