All this excitement over an 11 year old TV commercial. Typical for Chicago. They worship the all-time pathetic baseball team, the Cubs, who haven't won a world series for over 100 years.
Not a big fan of other sports but I do love hockey and the has been no better team for the past the 20+ years than the Detroit Red Wings.
11 championships vs 3, 19 out of the past 20 years in the playoffs vs 10. I'll take that kind of sucking any day.

The hawks not only have won a big game, they've won many. The blackhawks have come a very long way, a huge turnaround. For this decade, the hawks have been dead. But, in the 70's, the red wings were the dead wings. Sure they lost to detroit, but the wings reign is over.

and it's not a biased opinion. i lived downtown and have been hanging out there for 12 years. that's first hand experience that nothing has happened to me. and a federal, fully financed study of detroit's population in 2000 was 100,000 people off and we had to do it here in 2006 to get it right- so there's your proof of whatever you're saying.
