Thank you sir. The tip about putting my thumb through the trigger guard for leverage to remove the pin was exactly what I needed to get my new Sig broken down for the first time.
This is my first gun. The main problem I had was getting the slide to slide forward. I realized that I had to tilt the gun forward so that the barrel was not catching around the ejection port. Once I tilted it forward, it came out easily and I felt kinda dumb.
I like this gun. This is made for the French police force (20 years contract from 2002 to 2022). I tried it last year. Even people like my self with not much experience in shooting can do well with this gun! I was impressed!!
@lovesigsauer Ya, I love mine! If I'm not mistaken this is the same gun as the P6, which was made for the French police. This one and mine fall under a different name (SP2022). Would you happen to know what the difference is? Thanks!

@seelybooth13 it's pretty much the same but the SP IS sig pro and it is the French police contract which ends in the year 2022
