  • ダスティンホフマンって岡田准一に似ていると思いました。

    サイモンandガーファンクルの澄み切ったボーカルの曲が効果的に使われていますね。

  • Although the scenes on Telegraph Avenue were shot in Berkeley,UCLA stood in for the UC Berkeley campus in most of the on-campus scenes.Notice, for instance, that you don't see the Campanile or Sather Gate, both UCB landmarks. Also,Bay Area denizens chuckle on the fact that when Ben is racing along the top deck of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, supposedly heading toward Berkeley,he is in fact heading WEST on I-80,away from Berkeley and back towards downtown San Francisco.

  • Agree with you teacher I am a translator of English to Spanish and loved this movie before and today

  • Fountain scene is USC, not UCB.

Other scenes with Benjamin living in Berkeley were filmed in S Berkeley & Telegraph Ave.

Your loving sister...remember our high school days..I am so glad you were the Queen of Hearts...

  • Alfa Romeo Duetto 1600 Coda Longa 1967

I drove it.. and felt back in time.. with a tear in my eye

  • they don't make films like this anymore

  • Is that Berkley? Wasn't the Unibomber at teacher there in the late 60's? Elaine's math teacher...

  • i took a class called "film as literature"....my teacher showed us many good movies like "psycho" ,"birds" , "one flew over the cuckoos nest " and many others...the last movie was this one and in my opinion the best one... i'm glad i got the chance to see it XD

  • cinematography is beautiful in this film

  • Best original soundtrack ever. To really appreciate the film you would need to have been around during the Viet Nam era. Very nice sitting on your exemptions, like me, and or hoping you didn't get drafted in to one of the most horrendous conflicts of the last 200 years.

  • As a Teacher of English to International students, I showed my class this movie and asked them to write about it. Several students said it was the best American movie they had ever seen even though it is 40+ years old. I too, rank this movie in my top 10 of all time. Simon & Garfunkel's music is just fantastic!!

  • What happened to those cool days of the 1960's. We lost it somewhere after the 1970's.

  • 0 dislikes, keep it that way

  • great example of the marriage of music with film. no other sound track could set the tone of this film like the one crafted by S & G.

  • @yarbles67 totaly agree

  • @yarbles67 Although American Beauty is the closest equivalent to it since.

  • classic!

  • I absolutely love this movie. Thanks for the post. Cheers
