let me explain why its called head proportion. the way to draw a manga or an anime character is based on their head. it means its also their height. the smallest a.k.a. chibi is 2 heads high, and the most normal, or should i call it, realistic proportion is 8 heads high since in anime or manga, 7 heads is the standard.
