Both of my UCA instructors(ours was private, not a big camp) told us to NEVER to do facials, just smile. We don't compete tho but they told us that they hate that stuff.

I did uca camp at ucla and I got into all american i am on vars but it is my first year, I'm not going to London because of cost but don't trip if you don't make it, its not a big deal.

I just got back from UCA San antonio camp and I hated how some of the coaches went to the back and did the dance and the girls copied them. It made me mad cause they did it during evaluations and got a BLUE ribbon and we got Red. :c

@Calliepj the reason you didn't make it is because UCA looks for very clean cut, all-american cheerleaders. you had the look but doing extreme facials and exaggerated motions draw attention to you. they want everyone to look virtually the exact same to promote the team. your motions were sharp but they were too dramatic

Applebabe2187- when you go to London, you have to learn a different routine. They have two different dances depending on what state you come from. I went to London my sophomore year and it was amazing! I'm a senior now and I try out for my third consecutive All American title tomorrow =)
