  • Ever heard of a committed relationship without sex? Yeah, it's called "marriage."

  • Fox news was actually almost open minded there. Wow.

  • @Jusplais That is nonsense. The media hasn't done a story on asexuality in about 5 years (most of these videos are from 2006). FYI, I don't eat unfermented soy because of it's effects, but I'm still asexual. I was (to quote Lady Gaga), born this way. It just happens. No agenda, no conspiracy. Just this vast, confusing, wonderful thing called life.

  • @Jusplais Give me a link about how soy affects sexual ATTRACTION (not libido, not fertility) & I just may consider it.

  • @Jusplais Being born without a sexual organ is an *intersex* condition, not asexual condition. And, with the world approaching 7 Billion people, if a woman doesn't want to have a baby, its her choice and the world won't miss another mouth to feed.

  • @Jusplais ...what?

  • Is Asexuality really outlandish? When I think of romance and love, sex doesn't come to mind at all.

  • *points to self* Jealous.

  • That guy with the microphone is annoying as shit.

  • Fox is so fucking retarded

  • Excuse me, I'm gonna go get laid.

  • @evelsteev LOL,is that suppose to bother asexuals? what exactly are you trying to prove by trolling asexuals? just curious.

  • @RayDandy "Bother?" Wow, you really are negative.

    Have a nice day :)

  • @evelsteev i'm negative? okay,if you say so. i've seen your other comments you seem to want to argue with asexuals, i'm not sure if you're serious or just trolling. but hey, whatev, take it easy.

  • @drhaxable why do they have to be attention whores? I'm not asexual. I get turned on visually and mentally, but I'm not interested in having sex because I can't feel anything down there. iAll I would be doing would be pleasuring the other person. It's pretty depressing actually. I dont like bodily fluids either, so you can cross out "swallowing" or french-kissing for me. I think true asexual people just have really low hormone levels, so they don't feel a sex drive.

  • Because I am asexual, does NOT mean I am incapable of love, I don't want to snuggle up, I don't want to kiss, I am not queer or straight, or I can't love someone more than anything else in the world. All it means is that I just want to skip the sex part, and go directly to romance.

Honestly, what's so shocking about it. Yeah, I don't like sex. That doesn't mean I'm too busy or too uncaring for a partner. I love hugs and kisses and romance. I just don't like sex. Is that so hard to understand?

  • @time0space0witch I don't see why some people don't understand it, it's not rocket science :/ (I'm not asexual, but my gf is)

  • @HaldoChan It's really not. Some people want sex all the time, so it's only natural that there are people on the other end of the spectrum. *nods sagely*

  • @drhaxable Why???

  • if i was the host i would ask: did u try rubbing her pssy or licking it and she doesn't get aroused?

  • @vkrikela

Most Asexuals bodies work perfectly fine, so they will get aroused.

  • I am so hypersexual that if my penis stopped working I would litterally have to kill myself within a week. The pleasure that sex gives me is so intensely amazing that I couldn't live a week without it.

The sight of a fine womans body, followed by the knowlegde that I could never have sex with her is the most depressing thing I could possibly ever imagine. I would rather lose both of my legs than the use of my penis.

  • wtf , this is weird beyond disbelief how is this right then again neither are very attractive

  • @emiynu

Because asexual people are not a collective? Different strokes? A relationship with someone who is asexual is not platonic like a friendship--its possible to want emotional intimacy. I know that I for one am extremely romantic with my partner, and it sure isn't that way with my friends. And yes, I do want a family with my partner, and I'm open to the possibility of children.

  • Someone should have asked them the obvious question...why'd you CHOOSE the opposite sex to be PARTNERS with, and why just 1 other person? Clearly there's societal influence. Why not go all out and have multiple companions? If it's strictly platonic, there's no harm in that. Also, do they or don't they want what some other couples want--like a family, perhaps a test-tube baby, a surrogate or no?

  • @emiynu Not all asexuals choose to be "partners" with the opposite gender. There are asexuals who identify as bi or homo-asexual. Some asexuals, though probably a lot less, are alright with more than one other person. There are polyamourus asexuals. For those asexuals with "partners" it is normally a deep emotional connection that they form. Some people form such connections easier with the opposite gender, some with the same gender, some form them equally well with either.

  • @emiynu Heh....ran out of space. Some asexuals do want children. I've never really liked them myself, but I have considered perhaps one day having a "test tube" baby and when I was younger I always thought I would adopt. I imagine, like most people, of having a nice house, good job, husband, and a kid or kids. It's just that I don't want to have sex in order to do it. Sort of like a platonic/emotional type of family.

  • @emiynu cuz they're a hetro-romantic couple not a biromantic or homoromantic pair. being ace is a combo orientation...we attract to male/fem/other EMOTIONALLY not physically. this just happens to be a hetro-ace pair.

    im a bi ace.

  • what is wrong with this? I've3 watch a ton of videos, and this is the only one where the people aren't just total assholes

  • @deceiver123m

    Trolololololol, etc.

  • His wife looks like a man.... seems like just a gay in denial.

  • it makes everyone uncomfortable.

  • They're freaks.

  • asexuality means you don't have a dick!

  • @PrimateDynasty i do have a dick and im asexual HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THAT?

  • Different strokes for different folks. I believe asexuality and all other sexual orientations are just a few of the many facets that makes us all human.

  • People can't even have an intelligent conversation about this. The reporters are acting like teenagers.

  • @86thislove wow your right, the majority of sexual people dont want to have children and they say sex is life. i dont understand.

  • I myself am Asexual and Asexuality is something that alot of people just don't understand, there's alot of misinterpretations out there, but if anyone wants to know the truth about Asexuality, I'm here to talk.

  • When Bill O'reilly finds out that this issue was discussed openly on the same network he's working for, he should call them out or admit he's a hypocrite righty wacko.

  • @SudiArabia Why?

  • Comment removed

  • @86thislove what are u waiting for then... kill yourself. nobody will miss u. In fact i call for all asexuals to be drafted into the army, why not,... they wont leave kids behind. Put the a sexuals as first on the list to be drafted

  • @deceiver123m Judging by the way you sound in these comments I doubt anyone would miss YOU. If you have any brains you will be smart and not reproduce

  • @deceiver123m *flicks lighter in your face* THE POWER OF LIGHT COMPELS YOU, TROLL!!!

  • @86thislove it was like 6000 years ago, when we actually needed to surive.

Considering how we really dont need everyone to reproduce, it is no longer the meaning of life. For me, its to write a book.

  • @ZogJhones Exactly. People can do whatever they want and choose the path that's best for them

  • Ever realize how A-sexuals are so fucking smart? What's up with that?

  • @orrin4 haha, because asexuals don't waist their time thinking about sex/how to be sexually attractive/how to get sex/having sex/masturbating, ect. That creates a lot of free time for other activities, such as education!

  • @orrin4 haha, because asexuals don't waist their time thinking about sex/how to be sexually attractive/how to get sex/having sex/masturbating, ect. That creates a lot of free time for other activities, such as education!

  • @iamlilbox you understand well my friend :)

  • lots of peoples' time goes to being desirable. when you're indifferent to the date scene, you open up a window of a shit load of time in your life. and you decide what you want for yourself instead of what would attract some one else. so it's easy to stay focused.

  • @orrin4 It's cause our minds aren't blocked-up with sex

  • @orrin4

they also have an ability to make journalists look moronic.

  • @orrin4 just imagine all the time you ( and I, as no exception) spend on sex. i mean the whole shebang. the foreplay, the sex itself, after that. then the stress. u feel tired. u gotta nap.

now think, u spend all that time on studying and learning. of course u get smart. i mean, they don't even watch porn. :P

  • @orrin4 they are occupied by other stuff... more important things careers etc....

  • @orrin4 We spend our time studying in school instead of partying.

  • @orrin4 uhh cuz we dont clutter our heads with sex 24/7? we actually STUDY & learn things...including sex (like how its done. we know HOW to mate/create kids...just dont care to)

    that's why.

now...question...why are sexuals on the other hand...so stupid? oh thats right...to busy rutting & miss their education.

    "head/wall"

  • @mystiquesword You don't have to be so much of a douche bag about it man. Based on your grammar I don't believe you're A-sexual at all. You just don't have the ability to get laid. "Face/ Palm"

  • @orrin4 ive always been ace my whole life. im now 30 & have a bf so the option is there. just dont need it. that said...my grammer is fine in FORMAL writing. this is jsut a stupid chat line. i write novels & fanfiction & im working on an ace-ology book. i was A+ in english, in fact ALL my subjects except math & science.

so bite me! also...i hate it when sexuals assume things, so im automatically a "douchebag" towards them. im a black aro to strangers & bi ace to those i know. sorry ..

  • @mystiquesword I called you a douchebag because in your first reply to me calling you and every other ace smart, you called me and every other sexual "stupid". That aside... Is your bf ace too? If not, how does he put up with lack of sex?

  • @orrin4 Because we don't waist our brain power on sex

  • @Laughtraxx *waste... looks like you've wasted yours already lmao

  • Wait, I'm confused. This was aired on Fox news?

  • Asexuality is not experiencing sexual attraction, not just lack of interest in sex

  • @86thislove If you have lack of interest in sex then you're Grey-A Sexual and if you have no interest in sex what so ever then you're Asexual

  • @tickedoffnow Asexuality is the lack of sexual attraction, nothing to do with the act itself. I define myself Asexual even though I don't mind having sex with someone I love

  • @86thislove not true, you're mixing it up with Grey-A Sexuality.

  • @tickedoffnow There's also Demi-sexual which is what I'm talking about. Go look at AVEN and see that Asexuality is lack of sexual attraction not lack of having sex

  • Look at the Stock Market numbers LOL

    now days they're WAY lower.

  • wow. this is surprisng... Fox news being open?

but i guess this is old because No way are they like this now.

  • lack interest in sex to come forward about it and show the world that it's perfectly normal to be absent from that aspect of life, support yourselves and help restore the balance of life! Good luck to all fellow earthlings, : )

  • Just because someone is aesexual, doesn't mean that they don't have a sex drive, ever heard of auto-eroticism?

  • @neurfreiradikale FREAK!!!

  • @deceiver123m

Why is people not wanting sex such a big deal to you?

  • @glowythelugia Im a hater?

  • @glowythelugia

Because they're brainwashed by mainstream society and the mainstream entertainment media (notwithstanding this clip) into thinking "If you're not 'normal', then you're not worth the gum that sticks to your shoes".

Basic same attitude as toward gays, racial minorities, religious minorities, and so on and so forth. To which I say "There's a reason that non-diverse places are narrowminded and just plain boring"

  • ..... Fox News was not only open minded about this, but also RESPECTED the people on the show. They even brought in a professional that didn't bash asexuality and refuse to believe that it exists. Fox's liberal counter parts..... not so much. As happy as I am that they did a good job with this.... I'm quite disappointed with the other channels.

  • @xMusicIsMyPassionx gay ass

  • @deceiver123m LOL someone be trolin. :P

And thanks, I am quite happy today.

  • Fox News being open-minded WTF!?

  • @gombis666 And a swift kick up the ass might do you some good too

  • This "Winter" chick sure gives dirty looks a lot. Maybe she needs a good....nevermind. Actually, a good fuck might lighten up these two stiffs.

  • what I don't understand how members of a species so ugly and disgusting with all those bodily fluids, smells and let's just say skin imperfections would even like to touch each other let alone go beyond that. Yuck! Humans are surely pathetic creatures.

  • Clearing more stuff up. There are homo asexuals, bi asexuals and hetero asexuals. Sexual attraction has nothing to do with gender. Also, there isn't an issue with us that we need fixed. It's who we are. Yes I'm asexual too

  • Great video however they have sexual attraction confused with sex drive. Asexuals can still have a sex drive, some masturbate, but we don't feel the need to include other people. That part bothered me!

  • It's weird how ''sexuals'' can't imagine that anyone wouldn't want to have sex, but then again, I can't imagine how anyone /would/ want to have sex...

I can see attractive guys and girls, but I don't want to have sex with them... but I guess I'll have to try it one day, cos I can't exactly nock something until I've tried it. I just don't feel like it... =.=

  • how havent these people gone extinct?

  • @Bizzer10 no one knows what even causes it for sure, so that's kind of a hard question to answer.

  • @Bizzer10 because its not genetic, lol... it's like any other sexuality. so hetero parents can give birth to asexual offspring

  • @Bizzer10 sexual orientation is NOT hereditary that's how

  • Huh. I just, like, found out about this and I think I might be asexual. I find sex unattractive, and well don't really care for it. I don't get that "fire" people talk about. I see a 'hot' guy and can see he's attractive, but that's it. :p (No, no trauma or anything in my life!)

  • @lilmsbeccaboo same here. Actually.

  • @controversyking You sound awesome!! I wish I knew more people like you. I'm a 43 year old female asexual. I have my own house. I have a cat. I have friends. I have excellent health. What more is there? ha ha. Except it would be nice to have male friends and not worry about what they're thinking.

  • Agree with all the users who are surprised and pro-Fox this video: the interviewers actually seem to have some understanding of where they're coming from, and the acceptance is remarkable. Some of the others I've seen are downright offensive.

  • asexual is not real its a disorder fact low sex drive you morons

  • @FIGHTFANNERD3 low sex drive is completely different to sexual ATTRACTION, which is what the definition of asexuality is if you bothered to look it up...

i have a sex drive, i just don't feel sexually attracted to people. it's such a typical response of people to immediately pathologize something they don't understand-same thing happened with homosexuality.

  • Comment removed

  • @FIGHTFANNERD3 No, asexuality is not a disorder. For it to be a disorder, it has to be negitively affecting someone's life. Ask an asexual, most of them who have came to terms with their sexuality are happy people, who engadge in a normal life.

Sex isn't the world. Such a thing as having no desire for sex CAN, and DOES exist, and it in no way makes you a freak.

  • I would have a rude 3 sum with both the blondes, I'm talkin cooking oil, dildos inflatable lamas, rubber fists....

  • Being in a relationship is more than just having a convenient sexual partner. It's about having a deep emotional intimacy with that person, sharing your life with them. If you're not sexually attracted to others, you may still want that rock in your life, someone to be with you through whatever happens.

We're not somehow better than everyone else, but we're not worse either. We're just different. Being sexual is good if that's who you are, but so is being asexual, if -that- is who you are.

  • r humans spose to have sex?

rn't there enuff people on the planet?

  • I think asexual people are abnormal. There's got to be a missing chromosome or a disconnection in the sexual center in the brain. NO, you are not smarter and better humans. Thanks for sex, the human species has survived, and has even brought you abnormal people into this world.

  • @fvckUb1tch Actually you're at least mostly wrong, if not, completely wrong. You see, scientifically, it is very rare to be missing chromosomes, and there is no one "sexual center" in the brain. I'm pretty sure we aren't smarter and/or better, but at least we don't get STDs. Also, nobody is completely normal so even if we are abnormal, WHO REALLY CARES?

  • @fvckUb1tch and what a hellova species it is right? It sucks big time and you 've just proven it one more time

  • Why would you want to be with a different sex person if you have no sexual desire? Why not the same sex? You'd have a lot more common, if it's a only platonic, loving relationship. I just don't get asexual couples. Why a couple?

  • I guess it's the beauty of the genes and natural selection. If you have no sex drive, most probably you are for some reason not worthy of reproduction. Sounds logical.

  • @blondecat666 Ive seen many over sexual people with no worthy qualities. Your theory doesn't hold water.

  • @globalchaos1984 I didn't have a theory but thanks for granting me one. My question was/is that why would you form a non-sexual realationship with the opposite sex, when usually in a non-sexual relationship, liknever talkee friendship, same sex work better. I never talked about over-sexed people. I wish I knew some though :-))))

  • @blondecat666 Im referring to this quote. "I guess it's the beauty of the genes and natural selection. If you have no sex drive, most probably you are for some reason not worthy of reproduction. Sounds logical."

  • @globalchaos1984 I got it now, thanks and still stand by it. It is not the qualities (I agree what you said), but maybe reasons behind that those people don't want to produce children. Then again, I have seen vids about one 'asexual' couple that said they tried sex and now they will stick with it. We don't have to believe all videos weare watching.

  • @blondecat666, are you saying im not worthy of reproducing, and having kids because i have no sexual desires, Fuck YOu, Im 6'8 220, i am an impressive physical specimen, FUCK YOU

  • @crackwhen WOW, it seems testosterone is working, but use it for agression! And yes, you might be impressive physically, not sure, since measurements don't tell you everything, but if you don't feel sexual desire, which is primarily for reproductive reasons, then nature somehow decided you are not to reproduce. F* Y* sound kinda strange coming from you... Chill out Buddy, maybe you ought to try masturbation to let the spirit out LOL

  • @blondecat666, i am sorry for the verbal abuse, i just got mad, it came off as though you said i was somehow inferior or less of a human simply becuase i had not sexual desires, once again i apologize, but you have to understand, i get harassed everyday for something i cant control

  • @crackwhen It's ok, I don't get easily offended. I absolutely did not mean that you were inferior, it is only very curious how nature works... But asif we got talking, may I ask, do you have desire to have children or a woman/man partner that you can share your life with (without sex)?

  • @blondecat666, at this point in my life, i dont plan on having children, though if i did, i would most likely adopt, and as for having a partner male, or female, I have great family and friends to share my life with, and because i dont need sex, i also dont need or want a partner, i have always done things myself, which stems from being raised a singe child

  • @crackwhen Thanks, I just wanted to understand better. It is interesting what you say about being an only child effected your life. I was a child, too, and apart from being very sexual, I don't have the desire to share my life with a stranger :-) I wish you all the best!

  • @blondecat666, thanks, I wish you all the best as well

  • i don't like people. that's why i hate phisical contact and, consequently, sexual intercourse.

  • Proud asexual here :) I don't have a sex drive at all. If someone catches my eye, I don't think, "Omg, I wanna fuck them."

  • @controversyking Yeah, but most people don't get it :P, I try and be straight from the beginning. The person I like right now knows I'm asexual and is cool with it XD

How do women tend to respond to you saying you're not into romance or stuff?

  • well...obviously asexuals excempt themselfs and their genes from the genepool. it's genetic suicide basically...Just a real slow one, but suicide nontheless

  • And many sexuals abort their unborn children. That's not only suicide, it's a form of mass murder. In my Country Germany every year over 100.000 abortions take place. That's a big town. Our "way" is the better one.

  • @Frankydoesitalso I agree. My theory was that some people just not meant to reproduce... nature knows best.

  • @blondecat666 Hi I recommend you lose your condescending attitude, I do agree with your viewpoint on (Not everyone is meant to breed). Indeed too many people reproduce in today's society in return it has altered the natural order and created an imbalance. Their are far more people that lack interest in sex than most people can fathom, however some of those individuals feel compelled to conform to societal expectations therefore you'd never think anything of it. I encourage all people whom lack

  • @blondecat666 that's true babe :)

  • @Frankydoesitalso your genetic material will be nowhere within 200 years. Don't delude yourself. Nothing of you lives for even centuries let alone forever.

Heck not even the atoms in your fucked up organs.

  • @sondano I will evolve... I always do.. I have been evolving for millenia and see what I turned out to be...

  • Im a asperger, but asexual atheist too

  • That guy is so gay it isn't even funny.

  • I'm an autistic asexual atheist.

  • I'm asexual and when i was in a relationship I know that my now-ex took it personally. He was offended that I had no interest in sex. It's nice to see good press on asexuals, though :D

  • for the first thing that man asked ,my answer is it's called marriage , lol .

  • Troll Detected. Get the torches.

  • My hand and penis love having sex.

  • I never said that. I can see you, like other interest groups, are trying to be offended with every statement.

To say that closing down sexual couldn't be a problem is lunacy. It might not be with most of you, but some may be using this as a self-fulling prophecy. Many may be ignoring underlying issues.

Many people close down sexually after traumatic experiences. I just hope they get help addressing their issues.

  • I'm a little disappointed that Fox News is more open-minded about this than my parents, who make fun of Fox News for being too conservative. ._.;

  • I agree with this entire comment. ...Except that I'm a girl. -laughs-

  • Because everyone is born as a perfect impetus to continuing the human race? What about homosexual people? Do they not exist? Blind people? Left-handed people? What's the advantage there? Evolution generates all different results, and the human race is proof of that.

  • @Joem734 You're missing the point. An asexual person NEVER has sexual desire. If they never had it to start with, it means it wasn't brought on by a problem.

And I've never heard of a single case where people use asexuality as an answer for sudden loss of sexaul desire. Mainly because; A) your sexuality is something you're born with, it doesn't randomly change - B) most "out" asexuals are content with their sexuality, for it to be a problem a person would need to WANT it back.

  • I'm asexual, but I don't really get what all these others are doing saying that sex is disgusting and that it sucks. It IS the only way to procreate, although we don't have to do it if we choose not to or don't feel the instinct to, and it's not really disgusting, just different from our group's specific lifestyle.

  • sex is not the only way to procreate. There is artificial insemination.

  • @AustinWorthington It's not true that it is the only way to procreate in fact not even the most secure way as artificial insemination can produce much better results with far fewer risks. But even if it was the only way what is so damn amazing in procreation? Every goddamn virus does it and humans are no better in that regard. If humans stopped producing other humans so what? The universe would do just fine without them like it did for billions of years

  • IGNORANT

  • NO YOU

  • Why thank you, I'm Flattered.

  • i don't like sex. I think is dirt. But i respect people if they like it or not =)

  • I'm the same also!

Sex just feels wrong to me, but i respect others that do like Sex.

  • Fox is doing a good job,and being open minded? Fox News? Wow...

  • i don't even want any kind of relationship, i'm not only sex-free, i'm more like love-free.

    so, am i odd?

  • Not really, you just sound Aromantic.

  • yeaaaa for asexuals! YEA I SAY!!!! i feel so proud to not have any desire for SEX!

  • Erm... I'm aromantic asexual and I feel content and happy about my current state, but... pride? Sexual orientation, much like having blue eyes or light skin, isn't an achievement, what is there to be proud about? I don't get it.

  • um...sorry if my comment was kinda stupid, i was just in a retarded crazy mood cuz i was finding out there were more asexuals like myself.... i mean, sex and dating is ALWAYS in the media, and i feel a little 'special' because there aren't much asexuals and because im one of them....

im trying to say im proud to be a minority i guess

  • @KiwiTheHedgehog HI!! I know exactly what you mean! Ever since the day I learned about the birds and the bees, I was like, "That is NOT true! People do NOT do that!" But as I got older and one by one everybody around me "changed," I became a very angry person and I just COULD NOT UNDERSTAND. I thought they were all weak and sick. It wasn't until about 5 years ago when I first learned of the word "Asexual" and read about it and I was like, OMG, that's ME!!! I'm not alone!!!! (I am 43 now).

  • Thumb me up if you think that we, asexual people, are smarter, more self-aware, more sensitive and generally better humans than sexual people!

  • if that's true, they wouldn'r exist already ;)

  • SO would catholic priest.

  • @WTFBOOMDOOM Who cares if you're asexual, but you have no right to downplay sexual driven people... So keep your insecurities to yourself, and continue you're masturbation for your keyboard, mouse, and book.

  • @WTFBOOMDOOM being smart, sensitive and not on an ego trip is a "problem" not only asexuals have. school was just horror for me as the racist, careless, stupid dumbasses ruled it

  • @WTFBOOMDOOM A person who believes "their kind" is more elite than another group. How refreshingly unenlightened.
