do your cats' vet mind that you giving them chicken....i'm just wondering. i give my cat a treat now and then but i wasn't sure if it was safe enough to give my cat raw food everyday.....then again they are meat eaters...haha. You have very beautiful cats by the way.....what breed are they.

They are Savannahs. You can give them chicken every day but they need to have vitamins or supplemented with dry food. The chicken needs to be fresh.

You can give any cat Raw. Considering what has happened with canned or pouch food with the last year with the food recalls it is a good substitute. I would get on a yahoo list that talk about it or get a book and do some research to see what would be the correct mix of stuff. Everyone feels somewhat different. Some will feed only raw, I will feed a combination of dry + raw. If you feed only raw make sure they get the correct nutrients. Vitamins and tourine

yep she eventually grew out of it and is now mainly eating kibble. I think her taste changed after she had her first kitten. In the video she was close to 5-6 months old. She is over a year and half now. Her kitten is what I would call a "chicken aggressive" eater.

I am still laughing at Moja and you playing tug of war over that piece of chicken! I thought for a minute she was going to win. Great video. How much chicken do you feed each cat per day, and what else do you feed? I would love to switch my Pixie Bob and my old meezer to a raw diet.

Thanks for the comments. I will normally grind 2 chickens and a package of thighs. On a heavy chicken week that will last me a week or just over a week. Back when the video was made I was cutting up thighs and feeding them chunks. The video was made when Moja was pretty young and I would feed her as much as she wanted, about a thigh depending on size sometimes more.

So awesome watching them eat! Just the way they should. They're gorgeous and healthy and perfect. Kudos to you for not giving in to ignorance and corporate greed by feeding them cattle fodder and waste products. Thanks for making the video; you and your purrballs are beautiful and an inspiration!

Thank you for your comments. What some people do not realize is that pouch food is 60/70 cents. I get my chicken at costco for 88 cents per pound. I also know what they are eating (i suppose I dont know what is in the chicken) and the chicken is fresh. L

What a superb video. I loved the paw appearing at the side and sort of feeling around for food. These cats are so beautiful with their behaviour and markings. The ending was a classic!!! Keep making videos.
