I saw this on your website and almost pissed myself,
because at this VERY moment I'm working on something I call the SquealBook (uppercases and all).
As far as the book goes, it's exactly the same as your CrackleBook, but it never occured to be to seal the pages together. I'm just planning on bolting through the corners when it's finished.
The circuit's from a Yamaha Portasound 6 that I found some neat body contacts on. I'm not using pads for the controls though, just some old nails.

At any rate, I love your project. The overall result is real elegant (especially because of the book you're using), and the tones are beautiful
