this will bruise the hell out of your thumb lol i been playing fighting games like this for years im finally about to switch to arcade sticks, cus i have a good bit of extra money n time on my hands. very hard to do moves like this, even worse on hand held systems cus they r so small. turned my thumb purple plenty of times with this style of play lol
@blackjaguar324 I'm a fan of sliding, but you should go with whatever comes natural for you, as long as it works and isn't hurting you. Sliding is a bit rough on my thumb, personally, but I find I can use a thin layer shirt between my thumb and the d pad to both assist with the smoothness of the motions and cut down the friction against my thumb. That's what you call redneck ingenuity. :P
I find it very difficult to pull off moves which you have to hold down a direction before tapping the opposite one and hitting an attack button. Just... hard.
@Malachi01 depends on personal preference, there is no downside to using either stick or pad comparing them 1 to another. the only real difference is fightstick vs controller
I dont know what is big Z in red circle in control panel when i play trening and i try to hit that combo but i don know which button to i press.is that a combo or some special button, plz someone answer me.Can you THEWOLFLUCARIO help me?
THANK you I got the quarter circle stuff easy but the shoryuken was just confusing since its asking you to be fluid with the quarter circles so I was like how can I possibly do that fluidly and not miss my chance in an actual match
When I got into Street Fighter, I had only played the SSB games as well, so I had to look up a lot of movelists and FAQs, so I kinda know how your friend felt.
why would u make a video like this,ur friend must never use a controller in this life... if it combo then yeah but how to do hadoken, just tell him look at ur feet and shoryuken ,then u tell him that how u do the move while he knock out hahahhaaha
LOL I never realized that (according to these comments) so many people could have trouble with this!!! I first played a fighting game called Bloody Roar 2 with all the rolling and (easier to do) combos from mixing directions, punches and kicks so this came naturally to me- almost. I've never seen anything quite like E.Honda's/Mr. Bison's/Chunli's Ultra that includes that weird left right left right thing.- Or having to do a full circle.
and I guess ssmb is all easy fighting.. but its my fav game
hey i got the pc version so help me out, i need the ps3 controls to get a basic idea of how to configure, i mean reply me with the default controls of the ps3 controller
HEY MAN! YOU JUST EARNED YOURSELF A SUBSCRIPTION FROM ME!!! YOU HAVE TAUGHT ME SO WELL!! BECAUSE OF YOU I WON THE WEEKLY GAMING TOURNAMENT AT THE INTERNET CAFE! THANK YOU SO FRICKEN MUCH MAN! fRICKEN LOVE YOU!!
@Valgua77 I'm probably going to try to make another 'how to' video, since it seems to be being requested. Most people seem to be having trouble with the dragon punch, so that'll possibly be the main point of the video. When it will come, I don't really know. My tips, first of all, is to use the D-pad, if you can. Secondly what you basically want to do is do a Hadoken in reverse, and then forward, in one quick smooth motion. That should work, practice makes perfect.
Hey, could do me a favor? I just bought the game on Steam for the PC and am planning on using my PS3 controller. The only thing I need to know is the complete button layout for the PS3 version itself! Then I can map accordingly. I wanna do that because I want set out it how it's MEANT to be set out. Can't find the layout anywhere, so I would really appreciate it if you could list them for me please!
@RABIDNATSU Except the last one should be L2. :P That sounds about right. I always modify mine so that the weak and strong attacks are on the controller's face buttons.
lol I remember when I was a kid and my I started playing fighting games with my friends. Took my a while to figure this stuff out because I was so use to Super Smash Brothers style play.
@RTKTS You're welcome, I'm glad I could help. I honestly didn't expect this video to do so well. I've been playing games like these since SFII:Turbo, so it mostly comes naturally for me.
the video can not helps many but for some who play the first time is good I the only bud that hunters are to win the world championship if one or the european championship or greek with mister baison and get these super you only know there is are some tricks of the dan
Unless I'm mistaken, most of them are the same as the super combos, but you need your 'revenge' bar at least half full, and you press triple kick or punch.(All 3 kick or punch buttons.) All moves are just a combination of the basics of directional movements and button pressing.
Nice video, I rememnber first playing Street Fighter II on the SNES. I tried to hard to do a haduken, when I finally ended up doing it, I got all excited and jumped for joy! Lol the memories.
