  • Even Godzilla will tell you King Diamond is the real King of the Monsters...

  • Wow... I haven't listened to this whole record in years, and it still bugs me. Something bad happened around this time, and it was the beginning of the end for classic Diamond. This album had so much potential. Great songs and hooks... but his vocals chords were starting to change, and he strains to hit everything. Amazing solos, but the guitar tone SUCKS. KD tones were always so eerie, but here it's all crunch, no tone, and the mix blows. This is the record I wish they could have done over.

  • One of my favourites from the album, such an incredible song!

  • 2:15

  • I love the part around 3:53. The King's insane range really comes through there. Thanks for the post. I haven't heard these songs in ages.

  • Happy SUPERMOON Night Tonite.....

  • King Diamond Is The King!! For eternity!!

  • Hail to the King baby!!!!!!

  • is the real god

  • love this song. the melody is so haunting in the chorus! Spider's Lullabye is one King's best straight song based records imo. his singing is really varied on it, even moreso than usual. he reallyi shows off his range on this and M.F 'Time'

  • King Diamond is god of metal!!!!!!!

  • 2:17 Fukkin Rocks

  • No matter how many times I listen to this song, that solo after the first chorus always makes me happy.

    Hail to the King baby!

  • Before King cancelled his "Give Me Your Soul" tour due to illness, he claimed that he was "going to do some songs that hadn't been played in a long time". I always hoped that "At The Gates," "Moonlight" and "The Portrait" would have been among them.

  • Awesome .....Didnt Realize it was remastered....yu learn something new everyday.......

  • appears to be remastered sounds quite a bit louder and drums are clearer, covers badass too

  • This is from the remastered Spider's Lullabye?

  • Yap.

  • I've had the original since the week it came out. 1994-95 was a helluva time for metal.
