My dad, ATC John Douglas Owens, was one of those buried at sea that day. I got a few photos and the video just a few days ago! I just sent today a thank you letter and some photos of my dad on the USS Hornet during WWII to the commanding officer of the USS Carl Vinson thanking him and the crew for a excellent ceremony. I wish there was a photo of my dad's box to go with my photo album. Please thank your husband for doing a great job.
