I've been a Vega player ever since Streetfighter 2 and I can honestly say that he inspires a lot of hatred. I've beaten players with him and gotten bitchery in return; bitchery that, strangely enough, failed to materialise if I beat them with Chun Li or Cammy. I like to annoy people even more by suggesting that they're only mad cuz they're jealous... XD

Whoever was fighting with Chun Li almost made me cry. She is such an explosive fighter, and can lay on the hits.  And for the combo specialist, she is a must. She has some nasty combos! But, whoever this person was needs to go back to school on how to play her, and both were being too cautious!

vega seems like one of those characters you just cant take seriously. I mean there are worse like dan but vega seems like the copy cat joke sort. I mean his slide sweep and falling claw moves look like M bisons and his throws are exactly the same as cammy's and that rolling punch that he does is the same as gen

Hey man i think your street fighter lore is way off. Seeing as Vega came before all those characters you mentioned it would seem the copy cat are those other toons. Then again you can't say they are copycats because in sf2 series he was one of the most feared characters, plus all those guys you mentioned play diffrently. So idk your logic is flawed, plus putting him in the category of dan just makes me really feel as if your just talking out of your ass.

@NateM31190 I not refering to any other game besides SF4 and in SF4 he has many techniques that look exactly like other characters. "Copy cat" probably was the wrong term but most characters who have similar moves still look diffrent like all the uppercuts but some of his moves look exactly like other characters. But my views on many parts of this game has changed since I last typed that so i don't feel exactly the same way.

@NateM31190 as far as the comparison to dan I was talking about them being what I call "Joke" characters, I dont know if there is a better term for it, but basically some fighting games put in characters that can't be taken very seriously. I was saying that Dan is a lot less of a serious character than vega but vega seemed like some what right down that alley. even though I know none can compare to Dan, vega seems like the second least likely to take seriously.

well....i can say he just has a shit load of shit going against him. He isn't necessarily slow at all. But a number of his moves have terrible startup. He is terrible under pressure. and mask/claw loss can hurt him alot. An almost impossible to combo into Ultra, and poor damage options to punish opponents.

But you still better be great if u want to take me out. Vega has to work hard, but good positioning and creativity takes him a long way. He can definitely move.

yeah 5 months old to be exact.

But, thats tru, especially his rolling attack. Takes at least 1 sec to start up. BTW im playing on the 360, ps3 seems to be easier to pull off combos, I only use Vega, Ken and Cammy

I play 360 right now.... but i when i get ps3, I'll play on that instead.

I don't really prefer 360 controller for fighting games.

But yeah, in a way, vega kinda got nerfed, cuz speed was his greatest asset. :(

I forgot to say one thing, his voice will be different in NA, because the voice actors are different, also you can change the voice actor you want in the options menu, either JP or NA, for each character, which is cool ~^

M. Bison, is Mike Bison, if you can run through the street fighter I, you'll see that the name of the boxer is Mike Bison. A particular american name by the way.

I'm used to calling him Vega...EVERYWHERE outside Japan calls him Vega. I'm used to calling him Balrog, too. Its just my friends will go like, WTF? When I call the Spanish clawman, Vega. They always think I'm talking about the boxer.....Anyways...I hope they call him Vega in the games....ALL my friends are used to that.
