  • argh, why can't I be a kid again!

  • Sonic Adventure 2 much?

  • @sonicheroesfan1 this was way before sonic adventure 2 my friend...

  • This sounds like it took some inspiration from Chick Corea - Return to Forever. SNES music was amazing. Donkey Kong Country 1 & 2 and F-Zero had some of the best.

  • @kungfudude Don't forget about Castlevania, man !

When I played Castlevania: Lords of Shadow I was disappointed.

I mean, where the fuck are the great Castlevania songs ?

    But the game is good.

  • incredible

  • WOW!:) I remember playing F-Zero back in the day and it is perfection. I would love add this soundtrack to my collection:o

  • I was 13 back when this was released - the apex of my childhood. Now at 32 I'm sad to say that I can't relate to any of the current games. I feel so out of place and awkward when I play then. But this... This I can always go back to and reminisce of simpler times.

  • @Einhander49 I'm 23 I feel the same. My brother borned in 1979 quite the same age as you made me discovered all this game. It's our childhood we are the first generations that feel such things I presume. Their is no soul in most of the new game but perhaps it's only because we were young that we feel it. We were indeed really sensitive at that time. SNES forever!

  • @Einhander49 i still love this game too, but the games of today r more complicated (the current "young" generation have the same problems u do with getting to grips with current-gen games). plus the problems of life are an added weight as responsibility's and family-life dynamics become increasingly more important than playing video games. make time for the kid inside u.

  • my fav song in the game followed by big blue theme

  • Old School ... s2

  • woa this bring back some memories

great game <3 (best from all the other fzero) + epic nintendo music

  • Ahhh....Memories sittin in front of my chunky analogue tv on a weekend day addictively playing this game and lovin the music at the same time. The sweet and simple days!

  • Appreciate the upload, but I think something is wrong with the volume. It keeps jumping out at some spots.

  • This brings back such good memories!

  • Team Teamwork sould definitely do a mashup with this soundtrack just like they did with the Goldeneye and Ocarina of Time soundtracks. this is one of the best soundtracks

  • holy shit...the drummer for this song must be one buff dude

  • @Xads308 It's what happens when you cross Dave Lombardo, Paul Bostaph, and Scott Travis and make that person a drummer.

Really it just sounds like religious use of double bass.

Of course, SNES music is synthesized.

  • has nice beat.

  • I think of Sagat from Street Fighter when listening to this

  • When this track breaks down and changes, it is simply amazing. Whoever created this track is a brilliant individual.

  • I remember this stage and the rocks in the distance. They looked like hats, except for one.

  • hahaha so true, i thought i was the only one hahahaha

  • Best video game song ever. All of these early 90's games had this jazzy fell to them, I loved it.

  • Hey everyone, if your into F-Zero or retro games in general you might want to check out my channel

    "The Emulator Review"

I review classic games spanning across many platforms as well as tech gadgets and software! I also have a high def review of this game live! Come check it out!

  • @TheEMUreview isnt an emu a bird?

  • @tfoister01 The word "emu" means several different things. If pronounced "ee-mue" then yes it is a bird. there is a manufacture of pro audio equipment named "EMU" and then as I use it Pronounced as whole letters "E-M-U" for my channel. it is short and an abbreviation for "Emulator" In the community most Emulators are abbreviated this way. So My channel is pronounced "The E-M-U Review" Thanks for asking! :)

  • Good ol' times :(

  • At 0:42, I always remember passing the finish line at that particular part of the song lol. It was perfect.

  • @SilverLux2009

    HAHa rofl me too!! xDD

  • do you know where i can find the soundtrack for this game anyone!!!?

  • youtube has all the tracks numb nutz

  • I wanna take it on the go!!!!

  • record em thats what im doin chyeaa!

  • Download it using a YouTube downloading site, or go to Ocremix and download a compressed archive of the entire thing.

  • I was in Arizona in the Sonoran Desert a few months ago and this song kept getting stuck in my head.

  • Lol you think thats bad?

Each time im walking across dirt or sand on a heat day the Gerudo desert theme from LoZ TP pops in my head.

  • haha

  • This song got me pumped up so much :D

  • This sounds like the song to a SNES rpg or some 8-bit rpg.

  • I love this song but this is looped so poorly. Ugh.

  • Ca me rappelle mon enfance! Si mélancolique! Avec un fond désertique et au loin des spectres d'explosions atomiques. Cette mélodie m'a toujours bouleversé. Je sais pas pourquoi. En tout cas grand merci!!

  • This kind of sounds like a stage a Super Castlevania. Man, Super Nintendo was ahead of its time in graphics, and musical scores.

  • @GISamurai I dunno about the gfx being ahead of its time man. We have the capability to produce some sick graphics nowdays and that is something way more than what people in the past said about nowdays.

  • @crazystarf

The snes was ahead of it's time. Games on consoles nowdays are'nt anything special, especially when compared to PC's. Plus its more than graphics, its style as well. Super metroid looks fantastic style wise to this day. Sorry.

  • @ToddMc82 I agree on Super Metroid, even though I only played it for the first time in Summer 2009.

I'm in a silly position where I didn't really get into gaming until 2008, but since I was stuck with Nintendo systems I really had no choice but to backtrack and hit the classics. The result is a dearth of stuff from the current generation, and a lot of older games as my favorites. Newer titles like Resident Evil 4 and both Super Mario Galaxies are still god-tier though!

  • @GISamurai No, sega was Ahead of its time. Sega had the Genesis Before the SNES.

  • @ACinthemaking Well, Sega never had the SNES after the Genesis either.

  • @MachRiderZero ...omg mind fuck..... What i ment to say was Genesis was the first 16 bit console. It was ahead. Even with the 32x, Saturn and Dream cast.

  • @GISamurai (I know its a really old comment but meh, everyone should read this :D )

Game designers back in the day worked from scratch, so they actually took time into composing OST's for videogames, nothing like the generic orchestral or techno beat in every modern game.

  • @GISamurai yeah snes was way ahead. Donkey Kong country blew my mind when i first played it, IT honestly looked 3dish

  • Sounds like a bit of Crash Team Racing is in this one.

Of course, this was made before so...

  • where did you get this?

  • awfully sad for a racing game. love it.

  • I love this song for its 6/4 time signature. If you understand music, then you know what I'm talking about.

  • That's what's up.

  • Yes, it is.

  • There's something you don't see everyday. ...So to speak.

  • Comment removed

  • THis may sound incredibly stupid but...........i'm beginning music theory......so I think i make out the "6" part, but not the "4", help me out on that!!!

  • Hmmmm. Well I can hear the 6/8 in there but I didnt hear any 4s at all.

  • are u sure this isn't big blue?

  • yeahhhh... go check out what big blue really sounds like. it is soooo not this! XD

  • its sand ocean. my fav song of the game

  • Major dumbass # 2

  • lol whos the first, and yes i agree sand ocean and big blue are LITERALLY the exact opposite

  • Dude! I thought I was stupid for even bothering to search for this song, but low and behold it's here! Thank you, JENSSCHLAU. Many high octane memories of this game and it's music.

  • this is a great tune to play your guitar to

  • If anyone knows where I could get any kind of sheet music for this tune, please let me know!! (via comment on my channel)

  • Best Song of the Game..

  • agreed

  • MildernhardPark and prac2, I salute you!

  • This song is easily the most nostalgic one out of all.

  • oh my fucking god this song rulz =DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
