  • Too many ingredients but too small rice papers., you should mentioned all the name of the veggies properly. And your music should also be in Korean or something and too loud, I can't concentrate what you are saying. But your spring roll sounds delish!

  • Awesome.

  • Please no music in your next videos. Watching it enough pleasure!

  • Are you going to do more recipes?

  • @Ldunk We plan to do more. We hope to have your support!

  • whats is the name of the song in the background?

  • @hadezmage: The song is : Canon in D

  • I love it my ex wife did that for me well i have now Chinese for change. You are cute thanks for video

  • i make it , but i realise the rice paper is tough to chew..

  • @plasmag1c -soak it a little longer( but not too longer that will make also mushy), till you see and feel the softness of the paper.

  • @plasmag1c hey if the rice paper is tough to chew next time you can use warm water or soak it in the water for a longer period of time to soften it up.

  • Hi,

As I mentioned, in my hometown, we don't use fried eggs. But when my friends recommended me, I tried...and it was nice! you can try...!

  • fail..

  • Great! Mom's vegetable is wonderful!

  • my mum just made this for me a few weeks ago. We picked the mints and other herbs we grew on our garden and mixed with some sliced lettuces and added steamed prawns and steamed pork. They taste so good!!!

  • Thank all of you for the comment!

Please bare in mind that every region of Vietnam has their own ingredient to stuff into the spring roll.

Therefore, feel free with your creativity!

And I do believe you all can roll a perfect/better than mine!

Thanks, again, and enjoy the Vietnamese Springroll

  • bad guide, these are the real ingredient for authentic coldrolls (basic)

    Pork Belly, Boiled and slice

Prawn: any kind, if its too big, slice it in half or a third

Herbs : Vietnamese Mint and "Ti To" ask your asian grocery for it

    Vietnamese lettuce, Garlic chives, vermicelli,

Sauce are either Vietnamese diluted fish sauce or fermented soybean paste sauce

these 2 sauces are VITAL part, ask around if u want to make it

  • lol u really go easy on the herbs hahaha and where are the garlic leaves? we use mint as well, gives a nice fresh flavor and bean sprouts, but egg is really a weird combination. and the way u roll is kinda clumsy

  • never made it with eggs before but Im sure gonna try it lol

  • i bet she could roll a blunt like a champ! she just rolled a fatty!

  • Very cute, the piano in the background was a little loud though. But thanks for the informative video! Good job! :)

  • Great video, thanks for posting :)

  • Is that lemon grass on the table?

  • @atcnick No, there was no lemon grass. It is small spring onion...

  • George Winston's "Variations on the Kanon by Pachelbel" is always a great choice as background music ;)

  • i've wondered how to make these forever! i love these rolls and now i can make them myself. thanks!!! nice piano music in the background, too :).

  • Lahti, Finland!

  • Do you live in Finland

  • I am sorry for not making it clear. This is Fresh Spingroll made in Finland. Some people asked why there is eggs...This is also surprised me when I had an experiences with Hai Phong friends and Ha Noi friends.

Take this as an experiences, each part of Vietnam has its own ingredients to put inside. Therefore, I take all in the comments and thank you very much for your support!

I hope you enjoy the Fresh Springroll

  • exactly. i haven'[t heard of vietnamese spring rolls w/ fried eggs.

  • the music's Canon in D, or C, or whatever key u want it in xD lol

  • whats the backround music called?

  • I have always wanted to make fresh roll

Thai restaurants calls them MEING and now i know how to make fresh rolls thank great video.

  • I am making these for a banquet. It is "Make Your Own" banquet, and all the guests must contruct the food themselves (I will prep it all). That way we can eat, and they can also learn how to make dishes. Thanks for your video. BTW, you are cute.

  • OMG. can somebody shut off that annoying loud music background,it's hard enough to listen as well as understand what the cook is talking about...

  • A vietnamese girl in Finland speaking English and making vietnamese food? That's very international!

  • Excellent video! The close-up of you folding the spring roll was very clear. Thanks!

  • Most of those ingredients are SO unnecessary, although VERY VERY delecious, I would only need about 4 of those ingredients in my spring roll, it's great though, I never have seen the eggs before o_O?

  • my mommy always uses eggs =) and she might even add mroe stuff then this girl does!

  • i luv spring rolls, they soooo awesomely delicious!! mmmmm yum!

  • thank you for showing how to make spring rolls

  • Nice video.

The video seems to stop right at the point when she started to talk about the sauces but I usually eat them with pre-made peanut sauce anyway, so that's no problem.

Thank you Theresa and Vu for sharing this wonderful Vietnamese food item with us.

    Happy Easter!
