Here's my ranking of the 10 best sodas I've tasted in my entire life, in order, from best to slightly better than average. 1) Pepsi Blue 2) Crystal Pepsi (non-diet) 3) Mountain Dew: Voltage 4) Dr. Pepper 5) Mountain Dew (the original) 6) Mountain Dew: Code Red 7) Mountain Dew: Live Wire 8) Mountain Dew: Revolution 9) Wild Cherry Pepsi 10) Pepsi (the original)
Crystal Pepsi was great! it tasted more like coke to me. What was Mountain Dew Revolution? I dont remember that one.. You have allot of good sodas on that list.
it was alright in terms of flavor..... but the style of TV commercials they used for the drink was actually something that felt like it was the source of inspiration for Apple's iMac G3 commercials...... (Frutiopia came out 2-3 years before the iMac)
men pepsi blue was awesome it was so good it was my fav pepsi even if i had never had crystal pepsi i want to try that as well i wish they would bring this back like coke did with vanilla coke i loove vanilla coke i love coke yea.^-^
Pepsi Blue was horrible even when consumed before the expiration date rather than four years after it; in fact, my guess is that there was no difference between the taste of fresh Pepsi Blue and that of Pepsi Blue four years stale.
That crap wasn't even cola, either. Wherefore then the Pepsi label? At least "new Coke" tasted like cola!
I still have a pepsi blue never been opened and its date is like may 03.I am never going to open it maybe one day pepsi blue will be back I really miss it.
WHAT!? Dude, if the bottle wasn't dented or awkwardly deformed, you could've auctioned it off on eBay or something as a collectors item for a good chunk of change. With an expiration date that far gone, I wouldn't even smell it, let alone take a sip of the stuff. Don't get me wrong, Pepsi Blue will always be my favorite. But since PepsiCo. will never bring it back, I personally boycotted Pepsi.
@gunfuego Lol... dude, the comment you responded to is 3 years old. Since then, I've already tried Voltage, Game Fuel Blue Alliance (world of warcraft themed), and Revolution. I've also tried a blue soda that's a non-Mountain Dew production, Crush Blue Raspberry.
Out of all of them, however, Voltage is still the closest to the taste and smell of Pepsi Blue. How do i know? I actually have a reference bottle of Pepsi Blue in cold storage for comparison. (smell/aroma comparison only though).
Yes I remember Pepsi blue (Or as I preferred to call it, Blue pepsi) It was my favorite soda at the time and It still is my favorite soda! I have a way to make a soda that has a similar taste, See the next comment and I'll tell you where to get the guide.
Yes I remember pepsi blue, It was my favorite soda and still is although it is discontinued. I still have 5 cans of it, All Sealed... I've had them since 2003...
You can find out how to make a soda similar to blue pepsi on Wikipedia, First go to wiki then type in "Pepsi blue" Then go into the discussion page. I put a guide in the discussion page. What you get doesn't taste exactly like the real thing but it is the closest you can get.
Here's another one... Gatorade Berry (blue), sugar, corn syrup, seltzer water, several extra drops of blue food coloring (because the seltzer water dilutes the color). All available at the local supermarket.
What? I remember when I first came to Canada I know I had Crystal Pepsi in 95 & 96, or around that time.
Canned soft drinks can last for years.
Here, I am looking at a can of coke, the date says January 4th, 2006 I bought it when I was in Russia back in 02 and I left it sitting in a cupboard for rememberence, it was the last time I was in Russia.
It was in a plastic bottle, sealed, inside an abandoned hotel and the expiry date was 2003. It tasted awful, what can I say. I used to love that stuff.
Thats gonna be future nuka cola quantums
