Thing is castlevania doesnt have to compare with gow, its been out long long before gow was even thought of so it can take on whatever game play it wants to. besides gow will never be as good as castlevania.

God of War clone done right is still a fun game.

Ripping off that series doesn't make for a bad game just not a very origina one. Anyway what was Castlevania to start with? Hitting emenies with a whip and traversing platforms. Seems like a desent evolution..
