@kupulisippi not at the beginning,

The characters start out with 1 or 2, and learn 1 pretty soon. Then the other three come at chapter 10 i think.

The 3 they get earliest are their best ones though. Vanille gets Blaster and Healer, Then Jammer (debuffer) which includes her "limit break" spell... Death just an example. Lightning is good in most of them and is a balanced character though.
