Sorry my post was so long....but my point is this. Don't give up. Keep singing and remember to honor pitch. Sometimes, that means slowing things down to make sure you are dead on with pitch and then speed things back up. It will make you a better singer :)

Hey, you do have natural talent! You have a unique delivery, too. That's rare. There was a trick I learned when being trained....roll your shoulders forward in a hunch and then bring them up as high to your ears as you can, then roll them all the way back and drop your shoulder blades back down. That will open up your chest cavity to maximize your ability to tank up for those long phrases. You will notice that when you try to breathe like that, it forces you to breathe from your diaphragm.
