Good news, RickLeeAbrams: a few years ago, the city asked people for any photos they had of the Children's Pavilion so they could rebuild it exactly as it was.
Although my parents always took photos on, what was then, Lilac Sunday, for some reason, they never took a photo of the Children's Pavilion.
i live right down the street from where they hold the lilac festival! it is sooo nice, and i love living here in highland park neighborhood! it is soooo beautiful!

I played there summer and winter. we loved the pavilion, but I hear that it is gone now
