  • There is only room for one firefighter at the front door. Maybe that is why he took it out with the flathead axe. You wackers need to get you face out of the books and actually fight fire.

  • I agree.. Use the irons.. No need for a pick head axe... Unless your Kurt Russell in Backdraft . Otherwise nice job.. Good stop

  • why is the driver responible for sirens?

  • what are the little packs on the back of their helmets?

  • sledge woulda worked wonders

  • ol boy was worn out after about 20 wacks at that door. use the butt end and ram that son bitch

  • damn how many hits does it take to get into a door. use the irons.

  • serious question.

which is better to use when breaking open a door..... an axe or a hooligan bar?

I always thought a hooligan but then I saw a guy using his axe.

  • @XfireexplorerX most firefighters attend to use a axe dont know why hehe

  • Gayest siren in Fire truck history

  • Is it a good idea for the driver to take his hands off the wheel to sound the bull horn?

I don't think it is. Perhaps a button on the steering wheel would be better. It doesn't look too safe to me.

  • Nice Macks. What year?

  • ...and people think this isn't fun!

  • isnt that a bitch at 3:23 gotta hate that

  • Love rolling up to a working fire and hearing the sweet sound of windows breaking lol.

  • A saw would have been better to use on the front door....and a TIC for overhaul too.

  • all u need is a set of irons

  • Hey I really think you should invest in a helmet cam if you are part of engine 9.

  • @hhdra I actually run with whitehall fire and have several helmet cams

  • Watch all the guys with no masks on going into the building and people wonder how many firefighters end up going to the hospital for smoke inhalation. Maybe no one had to go for care on this call but this complacency is what leads to injuries and deaths.

  • Speaking of rescue 3, that reminds me, I have noticed lately that aalentown is useing some different trucks numbers, recue # and squad #. What trucka are these? IS there somewhere where we can look at an updated truck numering and fire scene terms such as special call? What are the lehigh county numbers for the city units?

  • Great video - Covered it all from beginning to end.

  • Allentown Pa.

  • was there any one trapped in side?

  • this is prolly 1 of the best vids ive seen, u include response plus on scene and them charging the lines and everything. great vid!!

  • That engine your in.. What year is it? Cause the lights look old and the horn is normaly a foot petal so the driver can have both hands on the wheel.

  • ...hmmmm....I thought you were NEVER to move a ladder once its been placed outside a window, especially after someone goes up and enters the structure. Good thing he didn't have to bail out for any reason.

  • what other truck was that in the station it said 3r??? rescue 3

  • engine 3 reserve

  • Firtog, you have done it again!!!!

Outstanding videography! I have over 200 of these videos and this is by far one of the bEST!

  • nice video any exposure to the other houses

  • minimal smoke

  • One firefighter in the engine looks like rookie.

  • the headfirst entry into an elevated window at about 8:40 is not exactly good to see... no BA on the firefighter, and no checking of the floor to see if there is safe footing...

overall a great video, but definitely some areas where safety could be improved...

  • e was going into an exposure building that had no fire impingment to open up for ventilation purposes only very minimal smoke.

  • doesn't mean it was a good idea... lol

even with very minimal smoke, we should be wearing our BA - it only takes a few ppm of some chemicals in smoke to kill you.

  • awesome video

  • what street was that?cant tell.

  • needs a Q

  • Gota feel bad for that lone guy taking the door with an AXE... that must of been exhausting. If he's going to do it by himself, he should of just used a halligan bar. Baseball swing the pick into the jam, and force the door with the ads. The tool can do all the work, instead of a tired guy going in with an uncharged line. Still, great video, a complete run, feels like we're there.

  • Let's see breathing air even before there at the house, going interior without a charged line!

  • lets open a window and then break it classic FNG! lol

  • Awesome video!!

  • any B.A's on overhaul?
