one of my favorites game of all time.. a true masterpiece in every aspect...

It is sad camelot gave up on these and that the other 2 scenarios were only launched in japan, this game and shining the holy ark are the true treasures in the saturn, great graphics and sound for time enveloped with an intriguing story, both of religious and political point of views..

I ve instaled an emulator a with translator and played all 3 scenarios in perfect enlgish and it was beautifull.. SHINING FORCE FOREVER

as i was about to start secondary school the next day. This game has uber-nostalgia value for me.

In any case this song takes me back to a time in my life when I was 11, and I was fighting on the bridge battle just as I was finishing primary school. Or, during my second time through, hearing this in the golem battle.

shining force 3 was by far the most epic rpg that ive played in my entire life. The story the characters, the he music, everything was so epic, and when i found out there were 2 more scenarios, i knew i had to had them!

Years passed since i played this game and i downloaded an emulator and this game for my PC and installed a translation patch, so playing the 3 games in english, man, EPIC!

That is pretty epic. I have all three scenarios for my Sega Saturn. They are all in Japanese of course but they are still pretty easily playable just like that because of the translated scripts online. As well as the use of pictures in game to do most commands. It would be pretty unreal if I did ever bother to try and play them in English with those patches.

Long story short: sega are a bunch of greedy pricks who do not respect their customers or know their market. The dev team wanted to release here but were not allowed, they truly put their hearts into this series of games, and it shows.

When this plays during a battle scene.....it resolves all the tensions.......in Scenario 1.....the Tower and the great wall are the two battles that remind me of this music the most....

Well, actually, Shining Force Feather kinda sucks. I hate it's style: tons of HP at the beginning, over 9000 damage per hit and all those bang-boom animation.

It is NOT SF4 it is just SFF :(

Sega is really ticking me off, did you know? They finally made a new Shining game worthy of the 'Force' title, (Shining Force EXA and Shining Force NEO where NOT worthy of 'Force' title, they where NOT TBS style..), it's called Shining Force Feather, and it's for the DS, but they don't even know if they want to release it in America! Seriously SEGA, why the heck won't you release your GOOD games in the US? They never released Scenario 2 and 3 in America either...

This music also plays during the battle at the great wall, as well as when you go through the hero's test.

You're right about those ones. Silly of me to not remember the music played on those battles :(

I would hope too, for the day I could see a remake or a true Shining Force game... but SEGA just keeps going down the action RPG route and Camelot are currently busy with Golden Sun DS, which is a great thing in my book. I don´t see them returning to a Shining Force game though.. they´re still a small team and with Golden Sun their "new franchise", I just don´t see it happen, unfortunately...
