these are P.nattereri and not "Fruitpiranah" or redbelliedpacu,,. If you look at the mouths they have the real piranah underbite,bulldog mouths and not the flat ones that pacus have,. but i think there piranahs are still young

actually, those are piranhas. pacus have more of an "overbite," and their tails are more solidly colored. these have the vertical white band on their tails, which is typical for piranhas. but yes, pacus and piranhas are closely related and petsmart (and petco) sells them :)

It actually is a pirahna, if you do an image search of both you'll find that the pirahna's bottom jaw juts outward whereas the red-bellied pacu's does not. I own a pacu and the tail looks different too.
