@mustanghappy123 you absolutely can run a wet 100 shot with no problem TRUST me ,I run 125 shot and had over 30 10lbs bottles threw the motor, simple-ngk tr6 plugs (cold) use a full throttle switch, not push buttons,- mix some 100 oc (couple gals) just to be safe ,not absolutely neccary, most tards that blow there intake spray a fat shot at like 2000 rpms DON'T do that lol 3000 and up you'll be fine, watch my vids and see
im interested in getting a 100 wet shot for my 99 mustang gt but its got 100,000 very hard miles on it. Its also my DD and i dont want anything going wrong with it. So do you think adding a ZEX wet kit is a bad idea? How safe is it?
@mustanghappy123 do not shoot a wet kit through the stock intake. you will blow a hole right through the bottom of it. everyone i know who has shot fuel and nirtous through the intake has blown a hole through them. may take alittle bit or could happen within the first few times but it will happen. was in both of my friends stangs when it happend. i ran a 75 dry on my 02 auto gt and never had a issue. tune it.
@mustanghappy123 i think its the design. i think it puddles or vapors or something but both intakes with wet kit had them blow out the bottom.glad to help a fellow stang owner
nice launch. i cant believe that those are stock axles though, bc I had stockers in my 04 GT, and I snapped my driver side axle right in the splines on a 4k clutch dump with BFG Drag radials. I had to upgrade to 31 spline yukons and an Auburn Pro Series Diff with an Alum cover with bearing cap supports to prevent the problem again. and had to replace rear brakes after that too.
@BlueEyedItalian Are you a 5-Speed or Auto? If you're 5-Speed, that is why you snapped your axles. You really should run a bias-ply drag radial like the Mickey Thompson ET Streets or Hoosier QTP's. The bias-ply design is MUCH more forgiving on our rear's than a true drag radial radial design.
@cbmb2647 i do have the 5 speed, which is unfortunate for launches :-( my videos are with my normal street tires. havnt had any luck with the new D/Rs yet as when I tried, it was 95 degrees out and hotlapping, and still no hook up
@BlueEyedItalian i run bfg drag radials and i can get a good 60ft with them. a secret which costs no money is take off front sway bar links. thats all i did and you will be shocked how much of a 60ft you can gain. 18 lbs of air on the drag radials and lightly heat them. no water. 4 sec burnout and they stick.
@BlueEyedItalian automatic is so much more rough then dumping the clutch...besides he brake torqued. if you launch everyday you should be expecting problems. heard so many people talk shit about good cars cause they broke when beaten.
my i just got my 2003 gt two weeks ago, have you have any problems using nitrous my motor has a lot of miles close to 140k i don't want to break it, would you recommend it?€
dude, running nitros on an engine with 10 miles is more than halfing the life of it. its driving your car on borrowed time. if your serious about it then your going to need a shit ton of upgrades to handle it and probley end up buying a new engine in the long run. I'm not trying to be a buzzkill but im also speking from experience
all he need sis to take it to a shop thats good with mustangs and have them pull 2* timing from the motor and a 100 shot will do just fine but do not go more than a 100. 100 shot is the 4.6 limits on stock internals
something wasn't right then. I've used it for 9 years and when I pulled my motor apart at 121k miles it looked immaculate! Sounds like you had too much n2o (or not enough fuel, depending on how you look at it)
@stuntrider15 I sprayed "100 shot" but gained 143 rwhp on the dyno. I use to spray so much i kept a 50# cylinder on N2O at my house, so I could fill it at any time. I have a friend that been spraying a 150 for just as long with HUNDREDS of passes with ZERO issues.
not every motor is the same, i have had friends buy old Fbodies and spray a 250 on them and the can take it but they did not spray the whole way down the track, they sprayed at the 1/8th.
on my old GT when i sprayed a 125 i got about 8-9 passes outta it when the motor blew and it was stock! no tuning at all
your timing was off cause i just started sprying mine with 150 yesterday already went 6 passes 150 is pushin it on that line real fine line but its doin it
I need to take my 2000 LS1 Firebird up there...I'm not sure i've got the nerves to do that, though. Much less put nitrous in it. I'd be scared ****less that i'd somehow manage to lose control and crash into something. I dunno. Maybe I could, though.

I'm not saying that this is the best way... but I also did that untuned without retarding any timing.
