let me tell you a story about jerry lee and jimmy ellis, when they first recorded together at sun studio, RCA sued sun saying that was cuts they did of elvis and they almost won the suite until they personally heard jimmy ellis sing, by the waym jimmy was orion,

Elvis and Jerry Lee lewis were they really friends ? Theres only one Picture taken of them together with johnny and carl at sun studios. Is there anymore pictures of them together ?

gabe31g; I don't really know. Jerry Lee likes to say so, at times. I only know the 'Million Dollar Quartet' picture on which they appeared together. They started out at the same label, but The King had already left when The Killer appeared. In '68 or '69 The King invited The Killer to come over to Vegas, The Killer accepted. Jerry Lee watched the show and afterwards they jammed inside Elvis' room, until The Colonel ordered everyone to leave. I don't think they were close friends.

i'm not shore if theres anymore picture of jerry and elvis together other than the MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET,but there was a song relesed called 'save the last dance for me' where someone was singing with jerry that sounded like elvis (but can't say 100% if it is elvis) and there was a story behind it that if it was elvis RCA would have sued elvis(even today if it is true)cos they havent got that song on there list.

Yes, I've seen him two times; at Paradiso, Amsterdam, Holland. When you stand there in front of him, and the man starts singin' and playin'... Niagara Falls! Really.

Did George Klein say that Elvis himself called Jerry Lee 'The Genius Of Rock & Roll'!? I know that The King invited The Killer to Graceland in '57 or '58; he asked The Killer to play one song in particular; 'Come What May', over and over again (also told by George Klein). When Jerry Lee had left, everybody was talking about Jerry Lee; Presley said: 'why dontcha all work for him, if he's so great!'

In 1988 I got my first ticket, to a JLL Concert in Düsseldorf, Germany. JLL didn'nt appear. I was a young boy and thought it was my last chance to see him. In 1991 he came to Düsseldorf. My first JLL-Concert. Since 1991 I saw him many times. Last time in 2007, in Holland. It was a great show, I was totally surprissed, couldn't believe that the old man still was the greatest live show on earth. Thank you for the clip!
