i have the same exact go kart but i had to replace the clutch and had to go through the whole motor becuas it sat outside for so long it rusted when i went through the engine a bunch of water came out from the rain but its running great eversince i did that.

I got a 5hp briggs one wheel drive and has tires with tred for pavment, but I have alot of fun in the gravel and grass with it, you just can't completely stop and keep it off hills

@THURLRIZZLE actually the tires i purchased when i got 4 new ones were turf savers but they were a different brand.........not carlisle (there were sold out of carlisle turf savers). They dont' work on anything except pavement cause my kart is only 1 wheel drive (unless you dont stop on the grass or dirt, or gradually slow down.)

well have no fear im converting mine to 2 wheel drive, and its an easy conversion i just found out once you know what youre doing its easy to convert and if you get offroad tires for the kart too with the knobs like dirt bikes, and 2wd, itll be a beast in dirt and grass. im gonna hook up some go kart shocks too.

ever drove a yerf dog go kart? man there so much fun as for the murray go kart i saw on one of your vids my friend anthoney has one of those murrays except it is a one seater with a torque converter.... but yours is still pretty nice though.

thanks man im upset that its only 1wd though if it were 2 wheel drive it would kick ass i plan on converting it, putting on suspension and putting on either 4 wheeler tires or regular go kart knobby's. and idk about a yerf dog but i drove one actual off road kart it was sweet and tons of fun.

well ya if you had four wheeler tiers on it it would go slower but it would have better traction on the ground... it would be cool if you put a torque conveter on the shaft. and a live axel wouldnt be bad either. lol

yes it is, its just the two seater version, without suspension or live axle, but i hope to fix both those problems. the well known murray explorer is the one seater, live axle, suspension go kart. Ill probably fix the steering mechanism, put suspension and live axle.

if your tire goes bald let some air out of the tire because the middle of the tire is hitting the ground the most so there for its getting bald faster.

not necessarily, more like a lawn kart. great on street, great on grass if you dont slow down, horrible on bumpy dirt and grass.

you got a great point, which is why i hope i can convert this beast to 2wd so i can take it on dirt and in my bumpy field and still be able to slow down and stop. plus, the kart will take off faster if both wheels are spinning.

yeah its a pain in the ass when you get stuck but if you put your foot down you wont get stuck............only downside is that its wicked bumpy and you cant go any slower or you'll get stuck. so im converting to 2wd. fun little kart anyways though.

they're 15 x 6.00 - 6............thats the size exactly. i didnt order them they came with the kart but i got new ones and took the kart to a shop where they ordered the tires. i think from Carlisle tires, thats the original tires are from, and they're Turf Savers.

thanks, also im not sure about the price, i got this one for free from my friend who is moving (i think he already moved out), so im not certain on the price, my guess is $300 and i dont know how much it would cost extra to ship it to your country, or if they sell them there im not sure. you may be able to check online type "murray go kart for sale" on like google or craigslist or something. yeah i too am going to work on getting a racing kart too.

@MXHondas230 I just bought one but its running real rich. Were can i find out how to tune it up. The spring attached to the governor was off and I'm not sure which hole it belongs in. I have the same cart and engine. Cheers
