Yeah, it's a really bad sign of things to come and a sad thing when people are caring less and less about reading and typing and more about....games like World of Warcraft (and WoW isn't that great a game IMO) and "music" like that stupid Die Antwoord crap. Whatever crap that most people care about these days and prefer over older (and imo much better) music, animation, games, ect. just because it's not what they grew up with.

Don't create your own MUD! Find an existing MUD, play there, and once you know what it's all about, consider to contribute there.

A MUD is tons of fun, but tons of work as well. A MUD "out of the box" is just empty: no individual ideas, no players, no friends, no life, no story. That's just crap.

@Dimbark Play with a MUD Client. For example there are ZMUD and CMUD for Windows, and various clients for Mac and Linux. These clients will still use the telnet protocol, but they will provide you with a separate input line, so that the output from the mud will not run into the text you are typing.

try python programing i recomend downloading v2.7 and get familiar with it. everyone i know says its the easyest programing for beginers i also think so. iv made plenty of tb games myself with it. good luck and pm me if you have questions.

I know the answer to that. It's where you draw a pictures with |, /, :, ect. You could find an elaborate one in aardwolf and see what I mean.

This bit of software seems completely dead. The admin don't answer questions, and the forums are like a ghost town. There are only two muds active from it. Personally, I think it will go down soon. I wouldn't risk putting too much time into it.
