@mahlet65 no you do not put tomato in doro wet , but it all depends on your test,so there is no right and wrong way of doing it!

Good effort but once you use a tomato paste it's not an Ethiopian dish anymore! You have to saute the berbere and onion for at least 45 minutes to caramelize. Ethiopian "Wot" is very time consuming if you want to get it right. Nice try though!
