that's why our plastic cups have little markers that state how much they hold. you have 20 centiliters, 40 cl and 80 cl. You can shape them whichever way you feel like it as long it holds the amount written on the side. In this case, both cups would have the same amount written and no one (soberly) would pay the extra $1,25.
