hi.. just want to ask.. i have latency problem when using usb in pod x3L.. it has delay output...like a slap back delay... so it's hard to record in timing.. do you experience this too?

No, I don't experience that...you should get the latest drivers and check your settings and adjust the buffer size(in your daw and the pod software)

The Pod is connected to the PC via USB and the song was recorded in Cubase...no amp and no other software was used!

Yeah...you can select different output types(studio direct, combo front/effect loop, stack front/effect loop)

you can connect it like this: guitar->pod x3(sent on pwr amp front)->normal input on your marshall

OR

you can put the pod x3 in to your effects loop on your mashall if it has got one...

Thanks man! The POD X3 is the best device for practicing at home in my opinion, if you have a flat!(I have the red bean version, not the x3 live)

I also have a fender tube amp and the modeled pod version of the amp sounds very accurate! Overall the tone is great, but some crunch and hi gain amps don't have the chrunchy "tube-sound" which you get from a marshall fullstack for example!

But hey, are you able to power up your 100W tube monster in your flat?! I bet your neighbors will love it ;-)

On the other side, the pod is full of stomp-box effects like distortions, flangers...etc.

If you would buy all these pedals, you would spend a few thousand dollars just for the effects!

And I didn't mention all the amp models(including vintage amps), cabinets and microphone models!

Thx! i got the backing-track from a friend who also plays guitar! But I think that Line6 guitarport released some backing tracks of famous artist(Jimi for example) with the original recordings minus guitar track for practicing purposes! Maybe it's from there? I really don't know!
