Heh, you all underestimate the strength those strum bars have. I strum at about his strength, maybe a little harder, and my guitar still works fine after a year. Besides, you'd much rather strum too hard and have to replace your guitar every 2+ years then constantly strum too lightly and end up braking the guitar out of anger anyways.
