Yes, in a way. Each sample can be set up to mute another sample so the way I did this was have 2 sections of break, one rolling from the kick and one from the snare, each set up to gate each other off. There are also envelope controls for each sample which you can use to determine the length of the slice, if you want this can be different for every step in the sequence. I prefer the gating technique - it's definitely better for jungle anyway!!

I guess it is a pain in the ass to program notes for chords or basslines.
