Why were the 80s so cool, so original, so passionate and so soulful and now everything is so utter sh*t!!! Everything is so fake!!! Everything is so pretentious!! I so wish the 80s could come back.
Man, I was small kid back in the 80s. I miss the 80s SO MUCH!! It was such a cool era. The synthesizer created atmosphere in the music screams the 80s. The music makes me want the 80s to come back. We are stuck in a sh*tty time where the TV is sh*t, music is sh*t and movies are complete sh*t!
Very cool fan made. Season 4 to some was never considered canon it was so bad. It was made (season 4) to allow Airwolf to meet syndication requirements so it could be rebroadcasted as a syndicated series after its cancelation.
There has been offers by both amateur and professionals writers to bring it back or reboot it. But honestly after seeing the fail of other reboots I think perhaps this series needs to indeed remain as echos of the past.
@sirwuff I agree with you.. i'd hate to see them make an AirWolf that resembled the "new Knight Rider". Such a disgrace need NOT happen to the most awesome show on television, period.
Watched this before, nice job, very good idea and well produced, i was glad he never actually died though, they should have brought him back in season 4 to sort out the numb fucks who took over!
String never did die, unless one cares to believe that when St.John flew him away from the hospital (in Airwolf) in the s-4 opening episode, he actually took him somewhere (his cabin) where Hawke could pass on his own terms.
I would still like to see a proper ending for the original Airwolf series. Perhaps showing a much older Caitlyn with her "son" putting a flower on String's grave at Arlington then discovering that Dom is still alive. They could use this clip as part of the story.
I just wish they could've ended the show better if string fellow really did die they should show him reunite or show flashbacks like this for a complete ending
Shit, this clip makes me cry so badly - totally understanding and feeling not only Stringfellow the character and his relationship to Gabrielle, but also what Love is all about. This show defined my childhood, teenhood and journey into mandom. I love it so much...
to the butwipe who said string or dom dont die, watch the episode black jack gay boy, didnt dom die in the helicopter explosion outside santini air of which string got injured and ended up in an infirmiry after which no one knew if he lived or died, what a know it all prick
@ksw500-Black jack was NOT from the originl Air Wolf, assfole. Its a Canadian piece of $hit remake that DIDN'T even HAVE the chopper to make film with!!!
They used all screencaps from the original show and unused footage. What a piece of garbage!
i've seen 4th series of airwolf. Dom doesnt die. Nor does String. the series just got cancelled with the new rights sold to canada. People who say dom died or string dies are talking crap, WATCH THE SHOW!! STOP GUESSING!! BE A MAN ABOUT IT
I've seen it,all episodes and I KNOW DOM DIED BUT STRING DIDN'T,he has been taken off the hospital by St.John! I guess I'll be forced to repeat this sometimes to some people like you,man...
I thought he might have died at the start of the 4th seaason. I heard Dom did. Barry Van Dyke played St. John in the 4th season, right? He was wooden on Galactica 1980.
hey,String didn't die in the first episode of 4th season, but he's been taken off hospital by St.John after the blast in Santini Air what killed Dom. I like Barry Van Dyke much but the only thing producers omitted he was a bit too young to become String's brother.
String had the flashbacks as he has been poisoned by someone who reported as who's had certain information about his missing brother. String wasn't in that chopper as suggested but he's been kidnapped by someone trying to obtain where Airwolf was and later released by Archangel. Watch episode 1x7 carefully :D I got all 4 seasons.
String will live forever! If only he & Caitland had got together & made a go of it. It would of had Dom's blessing..... Barry Van Dyke as Saint John was bad casting. The Sin Jin is this clip was the business - What an actor....
String never died in the crash and plus the footage of the Hughes 500 crashing into the cliff is taken from the 1978 movie Capricorn One that footage also used in the A-Team episode battle of bel-air and on top of that Capricorn One's footage was also used in other episodes of Airwolf as well too.
i love this video ...i first saw this movie when i was 7 or 8. now i'm 24, i still love it. maybe as a child i was efected by this movie romanticly that i've become such a romantic person.
String NEVER dies in the Airwolf storyline. The closest we get to seeing anything is in the Season 4 opener (Blackjack) when he is in a hospital bed recovering from an explosion and St. John/Sinjin (Barry Van Dyke) reunites with him in the hospital room. Storyline is deliberately vague, but String (JMV) does NOT die.
Well for any one who was mislead by this WONDERFULLY edited video, This is not how String dies. In this scene he was actually drugged and brain washed into thinking he got into a helicopter crash. Later he will wake up in a fake hospital room, and tricked in to believing that St. John had returned, and that Domonic had died, all so he could turn over Air-Wolf to the enemy. Fortunately String-Fellow Hawk is too smart for that. Great Episode, I happened to see it yesterday.
thats makes me sad to see. very good but classic writing and storylines. I grew up on airwolf. They don't make shows like that anymore sadly. Had heard of a possible airwolf movie coming soon. Can anyone verify?
funny thing is, it turns out its St. John that replaces Hawke as the pilot of Airwolf.

actually they left the meeting between St. John and String open, just in case they could somehow continue the story in the future.
