They should do a truthfull remake of that game, only update the graphics and dont change the style, like add two soundtracks to the game, both the PC heavy metal inspired soundtrack AND the heavy ambient dark space music on the PSX version

at about 10 mins or so....this guy says the stupiest fucking thing i have ever heard. He says its not doom 3 its doom as if doom 1 of and 2 never happened? Then what fuck makes it a doom game...the name? or the charcters being the same? thats like making a new model year of a car that in no way relates to the previous ones. Just the name, and format, genre....market recogntion. This is super old...so who gives a fuck. just saying tho

Doom 3 wasn’t anything like it's predecessors, and that was a disappointment. Still in return we got one hell of a scary gorgeous game. If you don’t like scary, you won’t like Doom 3. I’m glad they made it. It’s the only game that’s made my armpits sweat in a cold dark room. Love it…

I have a ton of nostalgia for DOOM 1 and 2 as they were some of the first PC games I ever played - but DOOM 3 really is the best of the series so far. The DOOM series got better with each release. Alternatively, the Quake series got worse with each release.

G4 needs to reair all this, or at least release a boxed set of all this on DVD. Instead they want to show reruns of cops and cheaters.

it's kinda sad to see how G4 has slowly evolved into a spike tv clone. i guess playing to the lowest common denominator means more money from advertisers.

Gameplay wise its also pretty much doom 1 find keys, find doors, find switches and kill enemeies on the way.
