  • What a beauty. How much do you think this machine is worth in pounds?

  • I have the cleaners for their sentimental value, not their financial value. I'd never sell any of them anyway (at least, not the vintage ones, the modern ones I change for time to time!), so it's academic.

  • Wow ... who knew it would be so easy to research the old vacuum that we just uncovered in our parents' attic. This model was obviously leftover from MY grandparents! And, even better, my nephew discovered the original manual in a bedroom closet.

Thanks for the info you have provided.

    Connie, OH

  • Put Some WD40 on the wheels

  • I already have...this video is nearly a year old!

  • sound's good!!!!

  • very nice! I am helping restore an 1899 hotel, and we found an old non-electric machine, and a Hoover 725 deep down in the depths of the storage! Sadly, the 725 had a broken fan and missing the beater bar. some of the bag was still there. I also have the first Kirby. It is a model "C" I have 2.

  • WOW NICE HOOVER!! i have a 1930's hoover and my oldest vacuum is the first kirby ever the easy

  • Would that be a model R? I would buy it from you if you want to tell it to me.

  • That thing is in amazing condition for its age! Is that your oldest vacuum?

  • No, I have several older than this - the oldest being the Model 541 from 1923-25. If you go to my Youtube channel, you can find it.

  • hey nice hoover what a find in such pristine shape for being such a classic model.

  • Where do you get these vintage hoover vacuum cleaners?

  • Also, we're currently in the 21st century. FYI.

  • you need a current hoover vac one from the 20th centerury

  • I have nearly 50 old and new cleaners to choose from, I don't think I'll have a problem. But thanks.

  • Why? This one seems to work perfectly.

  • A very very nice vacuum! You can hear it beating at the carpet, can't you, which is more than I can say for a Dyson!

  • Very true!
