Hey Arlo! stan from TDPRI. I was wondering if You've ever done the "AC-30 Clean with a touch of Delay/Reverb". I'm really torn if I should get The Flextone without hearing one of my favorite Tones first or just go with a CC2? I dig the whole idea of what the XL is about but am fearful that I won't get the clear clean Tele Tone that a Vox and a Tele are capable of. Nobody around here has the XL or I woulda done this months ago and the CC2 is just as scarce.

ive been looking into one of those el dorado leather pickguards for my tele. are they worth it? a friend of mine said that a leather pickguard reduces the crackling and buz that you get with a regular plastic but i (like you) custom built my tele and ive never heard a crackle or buzz from it in the first place.
