  • why the hell do you babble to an ill animal?...

  • Weimaraner? :)

  • @Valhallarescue That is such a pretty dog. I have a 4 month old who I recently discovered got parvo. I couldn't afford putting him in the hospital. I was given pills and an IV drip for him. He was throwing up a little bit and since has stopped eating and drinking. He doesn't have bloody stool yet and he is still aware of his surroundings. I was wondering if there is any hope? He has already been to the Vet and they have treated him

  • thats a beautiful dog

  • whats with all that fluid on her shoulders!! wow wayy too much sub q

  • whats with all that fluid on her shoulders!!

  • you need to take him to the vet asap. have you had him diagnosed yet

  • my dog want eat we give it i.v's and shots but it hasnt ate in like 2 days

  • EvelynShow, It could be a number of things. Has he just started or has he drooled all his life? What breed is he? Bella Seekoo is a Great dane and they are prone to drooling. If this is a sudden thing and associated with lethargy or vomiting/diarrhea, then please take to vet ASAP. If this is a "all the time" thing, like he's a dane or saint bernard or newfie, then you may have what is known as a "wet mouthed" dog. :-) I would need more info and if you are worried take to a vet for safety.

  • @valhallarescue i took him to a vet already his getting much much much better !!!!! he barks i think hes saved already and he eats and runs ^__^ thank youu god!!!!!!!!!!

  • yea, only backyard safe make sure have french can free run around but deaf children always careful same idea with deaf animal ..I use ASL training with my hearing dog know 10 word in sign also my cat know too..one day my mice did try use sign so funny never see before ..my friend come over notice my mice did use sign tiny hand ..it rare ..my grandmother had blind cat very smart know where go it very safe farm area no danger around.

  • I have hernia too ..no one know about it . I alway want have deaf pet so bad and I had one deaf hamster full white and blue eye so beautiful but he is died cause no idea . my aunt almost plan give me new puppy is deaf in mexico but puppy had full ill cant make it only two month old died ..someday i can find deaf dog because I am deaf too no different and no big deal.

  • @limdaf There are many groups that rescue Deaf dogs & you would be a great home for one. I teach Bella using sign for teaching dogs commands, but also asl. Even tho she is partially blind, she is very visual & touchy/feely. to get her in from her evening potty i flash the porch lite & when I want her attention i stomp on the floor or if that doesn't work I have a tiny little squirt gun & I give her a bit of a squirt. The only thing you can't let them run free, cuz they don't come when called.

  • look funny puppy back skin look awful .

  • @limdaf - Sorry I should have mentioned that I had JUST given her about 300 mils of subQ fluids to help her with dehydration. She is now a LARGE 6 month old BEAST!! She still has some issues with the giardia she arrived at rescue with, but the parvo ended up being a minor case because she already had 2 of the 3 parvo vaccines required for puppies. THAT'S probably what saved her life. She had recovered from the parvo in less than a week.

  • @limdaf she had a drain in her head from bite wounds she got while at the shelter too She came to me after she was dumped with a LONG list, besides the parvo. She is a white Great Dane and to get them they are inbred, so you can imagine the host of problems they can have. She is blind in one eye, Deaf, had an inguinal hernia, giardia, parvo, roundworms. She showed signs of parvo about 6 days after arriving. We assume she got it from the shelter where she spent a week before I could pull her
