Absolutely. I could always feel his passion listening to this song on Deliverance. Fuckin brilliant drummer. But this performance from Axe is just plain dull. Like hes getting paid to play sort of thing. Hard to explain but i;m sure you know what i'm getting at lol
I do, skyskraper31. To me, technique without passion is like being in the best restaurant and having no appetite at all. Definitely, I know what you're getting at :)
when i saw this band on the s.o.t.u. tour it was a sunny day and when they were setting up it got cloudy and when by the first song it was clody and so windy it was sakeing the stage also there were a group of ravens or crows that were above the stage and then when when the were done the sun came out and clouds were gone idk but that made me a fan!
Great. Not as good as the "Lamentations"-Version, but Opeth is always worth looking/listening to. Many thanx for sharing! (and Axe is quite good, but no match for Lopez; not yet, but I hope soon)
Yes. During the 2005 tour Lopez got panic attacks and couldn't play, so they brought Axe in to replace him for the tour, but Lopez never came back. :-(
C'ero. Miglior concerto della mia vita...

Great sound for being "home-bootlegged". Only bad thing is the random "lags" here and there.
