I love my Sunny bird. She is a great friend. It's hard for me to actually call her a pet. I feel that this somehow takes away from the relationship I have with Sunny. She's more like a friend/child. They love attention. Very funny little guys. I bought Sunny for about $1200.
wow its amazing how ur little caique just lays there in your hand under the water. its funny bc one of my caiques is named Sunny :) and the other is named Dee. me and my boyfriend are thying to get them to that point of trust and comfortable with us like that.
@chamandakitty90 -I believe that pets reflect their owners to some extent, so it's important to form a trusting, but firm relationship with the pet as soon as you can. Treat them with care and as much unconditional love as possible. I also play with Sunny a lot and always introduce her to my friends as often as I can. This way she gets used to people.
