I just have to say, I'm sitting here watching your vlog & I don't want u to take this the wrong way, but, hearing my mild mannered, sort of laid-back Aussie, say the words "fuck my hole" not only sounds all sorts of wrong LOL, but it's kinda hilarious! LOL LMAO ;-))))))
I recently redownloaded grindr but find myself wanting to delete it again. It's entertaining, but I live in a fairly small town so it's always the same people. Like you, I enjoy the conversation, but get annoyed when people old enough to be my grandfather hit on me. It's online dating/sex though, so there are too many douches and immature people. However, you do find the occasional nice person - I recently met someone during a trip and we went out for a really nice dinner (no sex) it was nice :)
With the new facial recognition software that's coming, hiding one's face doesn't seem as weird as it might've before. Soon, all you will have to do is plug in somebody's name, and all of the photos that have ever appeared on the internet will come up, even indecent ones. --But I have no 1st hand knowledge of such sites as grindr, mostly because they seem rather tawdry to me, like a digital bathhouse. I'm sure there are some gems in there, but I don't want to sift through the crap to find them
