how to make a hat for different size ? let say to make a hat for babies with kind of age, it's must be different hat circumference & height. I mean what a technique we suppose to use ?? Advise please ...thanks
@zahwa14 You will work hats to fit head sizes. Changing the crochet hook size is the easiest way to change the size of the cap. The other way is to modify through working more or less increase rounds with increase stitches.
The cap will turn out smaller if you follow the pattern exact. You can make the hat a larger size by modifying and working more stitches to make a larger cap.
You should always try to get the correct amount of stitches in. You may be able to get away with missing a stitch every once in a while. If you start to stray from the pattern to much your piece may not look correct.
i just sorta got carried away in the stitches...and kept just going on and stuff....i think i made a coaster thingy that you put cups on...it looks like a weird flower, lol... great vid. btw
Can you do this with just one color?

@nanogirl26 Yes, you can make a scarf! I have a square tutorial posted but it can easily be made longer for a scarf.
