  • read online the LA Times article "doubting the story of the exodus" from 2001 when famous jewish scholars such as rabbi David Wolpe and professor Ze'ev Herzog discussed how the exodus story was not a real event but rather only a jewish "narrative". The exodus story was jewish strategy to set the stage for an eventual land-grab on Egypt based on the "narrative" that jews were once enslaved there for 500 years. Just like how the jews were able to steal Palestine in 1948 with their holocaust hoax.

  • You're just giving me opinion. and i bet

those two dont even mention recent

    discoveries like coral covered chariots,

    burned mountain, egyptians texts

mentioning israel and the plagues, etc..

And holocaust hoax? Did those two

    scholars talk about that?

  • @LayTheGroundWork Jews were first to write about ancient Egypt and Abraham. Jews know that Egypt is not Arab - this land was stolen by Arabs, as was Jerusalem when a mosque was dumped there. Any evidences would be destroyed by the Arabs - who want to hide all truth which exposes them.

  • I love this story.

Though.. Imaginefree has a point. Why should the people of Egypt suffer? Or better yet, why their children? And animals? They had no part in the brutal acts commited toward the "children of Israel".

  • Well basically the egyptians did treat the hebrews badly (exodus 1:14). So thats why they suffered. The animals belonged to the egyptians, and also so did the children yet the first born did include adults i hope you know, people think when the bible says first born it meant children but it actually were adults. So I hope I answered that for you.

  • For the most part...

I just don't believe children and animals deserved to suffer is all.

  • They were chosen or trusted to preserve his word, nothing more. He calls some a den of vipers, and in the end times 1/3 of the population will die.

  • dude is this song the instrumental for 'his world'? nice!

  • thanks

  • Again God is not a terrorist, accuse a potter of murder see where that gets you, the insane asylum, thats exactly what your saying by calling God such a horrible thing. The moral is obey God, something youll soon learn one day.

  • "The moral is obey God, something youll soon learn one day."

    Bring it on, baby!

but I'm done with you, Sam.

  • Well thats always your option, but I'll keep you in my prayers sir.

  • Exodus,

the story of God repaying the Egyptians for feeding his people

by lying to them, robbing them,

    and killing their children.

Not a story I would teach kids,

if I wanted them to respect this mythical god!

  • Again sir, Egyptians treated the Israelites badly, READ THE BIBLE, Exodus 3:9-10. And actually it is a good story for kids, it shows that God cares for his people, and will punish those who treat them badly.

  • "it shows that God cares for his people, and will punish those who treat them badly."

It shows that if your government pisses god off

he's apt to kill children in every family.

It shows that if YHWH decides to show off

there is no cost too great for humanity to pay.

In fact, maybe stoking the furnaces of hell

eternally with those who displease him

is really just an object lesson for the angels!

  • Sorry, what is your point with this, I saw no rebuttal here, just some guy thinking hes better and smarter than GOD because of the sad life he has lived. Read Isaiah 45:9-10, and Isaiah 29:16, because I think it is talking about you, and take it to heart sir.

  • "Sorry, what is your point with this"

    Read it again.

I think it's plain enough for those willing to hear.

  • Really I dont see your point here, just more of your pointless rambling; I will say again, that the story of the Exodus is good for children. And actually read what I placed in the last comment including the verses.

  • I was always confused with this, chosen people" title. Just who's people does God consider the rest of humanity to be?

  • Well i think you put up a valid question and basically the answer is (for today's time) that people who do believe in God and what he did are the chosen, but people who do not are not the chosen.

  • This is terrific for my 1st-3rd Grade Sunday School class...the rich colors and simplicity makes a difficult concept easier to understand. I hope you are working on Part 2 about the Journey and Moses receiving the Ten Commandments!
