  • @MultiKeter fuck off we STARTED aramaic and made it into the lingua franca of the assyrian empire so OUR SLAVES (your ancestors) can talk to us more easily then thru AKADIAN which has over 600 words!

and thats why the MODERN ASSYRIAN LANGUAGE IS CALLED NEO-ARAMAIC YOU FUCKING IDIOT!

because we speak a COMBO LANGUAGE meaning we have aramaic in our language and EVEN OLDER AKADIAN WORDS IN OUR LANGUAGE OVER 400 TO BE EXACT!!!

our linguistics can be traced back to Sargon the great of Akkad

  • @MYASSYRIANPRIDE773

What is the matter with you? Clean up your language if you're going to post on a video like this. I don't want to listen to this video on Christmas morning and scroll down and see you dropping F-bombs.

  • @MESSENGERxOFxTRUTH because esho msheekha was assyrian khmara, dont believe what these satanic devils(VATICAN) tell you, jesus was NOT from nazareth but from around NINEVEH PLAINS.. jesus WAS ASSYRIAN although it gets downplayed big time..jewish hand had a BIG INFLUENCE in rewriting the bible over 50 times making the ONLY CIVILIZED ppl in mesopotamia look like barabarians when we gave the world its STARTING FOUNDATIONS!..we NOT JEWS are gods chosen people..

    ASHURYAYA(THOSE WHO STARTED IT 1ST)

  • yes we all need to respect, and listen to other voices...

  • I love this; it's so relaxing and beautiful.

  • Ameen

  • God bless Khaya Atur

  • Amazing. Thank you very much for sharing this with the rest of the world. Peace and Gratitude.

  • Look at this forum! And we still haven't learn a thing from our Lord Jesus, debating about a 'gene pool', insulting our brothers and sisters. What would God think about us intolerant people. We haven't learnt a thing, we cannot even live in peace. If peace doesn't start with yourself where will it? How can we offer peace if we don't even listen to this prayer instead of quarreling among each other? How would anyone take us serious or respect us? Lord forgive me and forgive them for I have sinned

  • wow, there is a lot of talk about was Jesus of a certain gene pool. It does not matter as God had said all have access to The Christ through faith. I am being not of Jewish or Aramaic gene pool can still and do claim the victory and inheritance of heaven through my faith in Jesus. That is why the book is admit on saying that Jews and gentiles can come no God's glory. Why did God choose the Gene pool He did I am not sure, but did not the Jews reject and crucify him, under the influence of satan?

  • Thank You for this beautiful prayer sung with a voice that was truly gifted to you by the Lord himself. Enaanaa excuse me for speaking in your place. This post was intended for the glory of God and for His Prayer to be heard in the language of Jesus Christ as he would have taught the people to pray as they worshipped. It is not a place for political discussions. This is a Holy place where these words are spoken and the introduction of these worldly, problems of the flesh have no place here.

  • Hey you Assyrians, where do you stand with the jeeews?? Are you friends or do you hate each other?? as far as I know jews always say that Christ the Saviour was/is an ethnic jew???

  • @TheDamasceneSteel Todays Assyrians dont have anything against jews. We dont hate them and if they hate us i dont know ill leave that unsaid. Jesus Christ realy was an ethnic jew at his birth.

  • @Toniito Christ was not an ethnic jew, you dumb idiota. He was of semitic origine, semitic genes. That means that he could have Araemean, jooosih, and even present day Arabic b/c its the same gene-pool with a different 'cultural' or national name. Jews as we know them now did not exist at that time. Just like the Vandals, the Visigots, in europe do not exist as a people anymore allthough of course their genes are still in people somewhere.

  • @TheDamasceneSteel Jews and Assyrians are related and share a common bond. Our lord is Jewish. There is no hate amongs them.

  • @kingbabylon117 I cannot believe how dumb you are. The first ever eviction of the jooos was by the babylonians. The Babylonians were the first to kick the joos out b/c they were filthy parasites that refused to be humans amongst human beings. In fact, most of the sickening parts of the "Sanhedrin" and the "Thora" stem from this period.

  • @yamejanakaratoprak Wow! you need to read history again, you are wrong on everything. First of all Abram and Sarai were from Ur of Chaldea,( which btw Chaldeans/Assyrians/Babylonians are the same people-ethnicity) Abram was chosen by God and God renamed him and Sarai just like we name our children, hence Gods Children Abraham and Sarah. But they are descendants of Mesopatamians. The rest is history.

  • @1987ArabicGirl Funny, last time I looked it was the wandering jew that was landless and will remain so till the end of time or till that filthy racist ethnic jewdeity jahweh comes to town which is the same as never. Now tell me how you found this comment, kleine Shoa-hure und vielleicht zeige ich dir was aber nur mit den grosst moglichen verachtung, du verstehst.

  • Comment removed

  • @1987ArabicGirl Dont talk so much, jewgirl. An ant can only walk over an elephant while the elephnt doesnt even feel its existence. Now satisfy my curiosity and tell me how you found this comment after I blocked you for being the parasite of a jew that you are and pretending to be something that you are not, holohoax-shoa-hure.

  • @TheDamasceneSteel stop putting words in my mouth i don't care less about israel or plaestine fuck both u filthy animal

believe whatever your want i dont give a fuck

  • @1987ArabicGirl kleine judenRATTE, brauchst mir nur zu erzahlen wie du dieses, mein comment gefunden hast, verstehst shoa-hure, weil du weiss Gott im Himmel kein Araberin bist.

  • @1987ArabicGirl why you post something so rude under the Lord's prayer which is Holy for us Christians. Your comments don't fit here. This is the disadvantage of this channel people are just too rude nowadays.

  • @TheDamasceneSteel Please stop insulting each other by saying rude things. If you're a true Christian you would not use such rude words under a holy prayer. Stop being so anti-Jewish or whatever your motives are. Instead listen to the words of this prayer. Why you cannot live as Jesus thought us. Love your neighbor as yourself whether they are Jew, Muslim or any other. In the end we Christians must be an instrument of peace. If you don't offer peace this prayer would be in vain. RESPECT

  • @1987ArabicGirl btw vaginafreak, it doesnt matter that you remove your comments, people are still able to see them by clicking the @1987jahuudsharmoota but first you have to of course find the video with a comment.

  • thank you so much for posting this

  • To YAHWEH be ALL THE GLORY :-)

  • this is so beautiful, many blessings to all assyrians, they have a very beautiful sacred language!!!

  • Aboon bishmaya nithgadash shmakh tete malkutukh nehweh sibyanukh aykana d'bishmaya apbarah, halan lakhmad simqanad youmana weshwuqlan khowbayn aykana dabekhnan shwaqin khayabein, w'la b'talan nisyuna ela pasan min bisha, mutul dilakhie malkutha, w'khayla w'tishbukhta le alam almeen amin.

  • assyria123 well said brother we are the kings of this world death to all enemies

  • @ASSYRIANZOWAA123 "death to all enemies" is why people have problems trusting modern day muslims

  • @syngar99 There are radicals in every religion, not just Islam.

  • @MetallicThor thats a misleading statement. you seek to justify via equivocation. All cities have crime, but some cities have MORE crime than others.m just because a man was killed in portland maine doesn't mean compton california is therefore equally dangerous.

  • @syngar99 But then you are misled yourself when you imply that most Muslims want 'death to all enemies'. If you want an example of a state, country or group of people that applies the latter mentality then look no further, Israel and the US are the most prominent in that mentality.

  • @MetallicThor lol save your bullshit for someone else. it doesnt matter if 99 percent of Muslims want peace, per capita muslims are either pro terrorist or sympathetic towards them.

and you are kind fo stupid actually, if the US wanted to k ill its enemies it has more than enough power to do so. the ONLY reeason american soldiers ever die is because they open themselves to risk when they try NOT to harm civilians. thats more than can be said of the pig eating jihadists.

  • @syngar99 Save the bullshit? And your false generalized opinions aren't BS? You have no proof of the claims you are making, you just need a reason to support your biased hatred towards Muslims. The US HAS killed its enemies, best examples of mass murder were unfortunately seen in Afghanistan and Iraq which you seem to forget. American soldiers are not good samaritans as you say, there were countless cases of rape in Iraq and innocent families being slaughtered. US soldiers lack proper training.

  • @MetallicThor You have no proof of the claims you are making, you just need a reason to support your biased hatred towards jews and americans. I will admit however that when it comes to killing muslims have greats training.

  • @syngar99 I never said that I hated Jews or Americans because I don't. You are too liberal with the word 'Muslims'. The actions of a few radical terrorists are not the actions of all Muslims in the world. And just in case you didn't know, it is the US governments fault that these 'terrorist' groups emerged. Radical groups tend to emmerge in places where persecution and injustice are common, namely Iraq and Afghanistan. I do not support the latter groups but I can see why they exist.

  • @MetallicThor i jnever said i hated all muslims either. you are too liberal in blaming anglos. any student of history would be hardpressed to deny the NONSTOP violence of the region, and most of it did NOT involve jews or americans.

  • @syngar99 Anglos? what do you mean by anglos?

And are you denying that the US attacked Iraq and Afghanistan? May I remind you of the series of bombings that destroyed innocent civilian houses and families? Are you saying that the US just entered Iraq and Afghanistan to bring order and justice? That is clearly a lie, just look at Iraq before the US attacked and look at it now. I am not blaming american or jewish citizens but I surely am blaming the US government.

  • Noth of iraq is majority of assyrian villages that speak naturally aramiac/syriac... The only reason why some mix in arabic is because most of the village people were poor and had no choice but to go to Baghdad and live a better life.. meaning learn to speak arabic and go to school and get a education..ARAMAIC AND ARABIC IS DIFFERENT..I will bring a assyrian that will speak aramiac he will cuss the shit out of a arab and he will never know what he said. ASSYRIANS ARE THE LAST that speak aramaic

  • One more thing i cant stand people saying we same like arabs... NO we are not and yes we are of a semetic group.. just like europeans u cant say polish is similar to italian but yet most of the european languages have a lil engilsh and latin.. does that mean they are the same

  • you are a agent of deceit and have no place here, step aside for u carry the mark of the beast.

  • to assyria123 you are right you kept your languag and you are beautiful people.antill 1950 lived among the assyrian many jewish who leave for the holyland - israel and we speak the same languag.

  • i hate when people say assyrians dont speak aramiac... yes we do we are the last to speak it... before Phoenicians (LEBANESE ), Palestinians, and syria and few others spoke a form of aramaic and was most spoken languages in middle east... hebrew, aramaic, and persian were the languages spoken all over middle east... just like today how most countries speak arabic... back couple thousand years ago it was mostly Aramaic and persian...

  • its amazing how the langauge has been preserved, if it wasnt for Msheekhah we would of completely lost the langauge, only through the church we still have our identity from over 2500 years withought a land. Tishbokhta le Alaha bomrowmeh he has kept us alive as a nation even to this day :)

  • Our lanugage is actually facing extinction. In the US, assyrian-americans don't know how to speak our language. Even the churches are praying in English nowadays... At least that's what I've been told.

    psheyna!

  • that is very sad, you guys should fight to prevent that, if you guys forget arameuc assyrian, humanity will loose a very important treasure.....

  • @elguerreromuisca how do u figure?

holding onto the past has caused more grief than anything else.

  • @syngar99 but it is important to know where you come from, to know where you are moving on to........

  • @Dujlen

That is not true!!! In america we do say it in Aramaic as well as english.

  • All of the Gospels were written 100 years after Jesus died. All the material was based on what Paul of Tarsus said he saw 'in a vision' of Jesus. Paul NEVER mentions a virgin birth in ANY of his 10,000 writings but the story shows up, all of a sudden, in the writings of Luke, John, Matthew, etc., 100+ years after Christ. Something is very fishy here. The Jews DID NOT kill Christ, this was a fabrication by satan itself - for the entire world to hate the Jews! Millions of Jews have been murderednow

  • @IIIl1IIIlllIII1 you must be muslim if you dont accept the atoning sacrifise of Eisho M'sheekha (Jesus the Messiah)

  • or non messianic jew...

  • This is NOT ASSYRIAN!! THIS IS ARAMAIC !!!!

  • No, this is the eastern-assyrian dialect. What you call aramaic is called the turoyo dialect.

  • Assyrians speak Aramaic. Are you stupid?

  • @ilsiriano85 aramaic is the langauge of the assyrians

  • i can quite understand it - almost identical to Hebrew !

    very nice...

  • That is because Hebrew was form of aramaic dialect.

  • Hebrew is not form of Aramaic

    Both are dialects of Phoenician.

  • Thats not what I read. lol

  • The Language Of Christ Indeed!

  • its technacly not ''assyrian'' but Aramean

  • whats the dif genius? t

  • Thank you so much for posting your beautifull video's. Your voice is truly a gift from God. Personally speaking, I have found so much comfort from listening and singing with the prayers, as where I am there are no Churches, let alone Assyrian Churches. So hearing these has made me feel a little closer to home and God. Thank you so much Enaanaa. Your sister in God, Rebecca x

  • Thank you so much Rebecca.. It's an honor.. God bless you my dear you made my day.. Happy Easter.

  • Are you aware that Inanna is a pagan goddess related to Semiramis?!!!!!!!!! Why are you posting Christian stuff when you pose as the worlds most influencial goddess?!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Well Well Well and who are you to say that the most influential Goddess did not choose to repent and believe in Christ? do you change your name when you become christian? The Goddess doesn't either she believes that she was created by God.

  • Well, well, well... I see that you do not like what I said. The most influential goddess(I did not capitalize the G because she is pagan,) lived 2,000 years before Yeshua was born, so how in the world can she repent and know Christ?

  • Jesus existed before time and will exist forever. You have no proof that he did not touch lives before his Birth as human 2000 years ago. Anyhow my dear friend.. Happy Easter. by the way Easter means Ister wich = Ishtar=Innana..

you will see how close her story is to Christ.

God bless you. Enjoy your Easter

  • Ahem. Easter actually comes from the name Ostara, whose name is also Ostare, Ostern, Eostra, Eostre, Eostur Eastra, Eastur, Austron, and Ausos. Look up Ostara and you will see modern altars with eggs surrounding it. Some have the goddess Diana, who is related to Ostara and others Mary, who they know is also related. The early "Church" wanted so bad the Pagans to convert, that they created Easter and Christ-mass, and used Mary and Jesus as replacements for these Pagan Gods and Rituals.

  • @Shachah223

    stop worrying about the box

    the object within is pure

  • @Laurence0227

UGH This is embarrassing! I was on a rampage against paganism and mother-worship, and I really didn't care about people's feelings. I feel so bad! >_<

  • AAAAAMEEEEEEEEEEEEEN!!! n_n

  • This was the language Jesus spoke, the language heard by those he taught. The rhythm of this prayer is exactly what a simple country people would have learned in learning how to pray to God. It's childlike in its simplicity, its depth is infinite, because we know that God knows what we want, and all is communicated to God without saying anything more than thsi simple prayer. To hear it in this way is how it was taught and heard by those sitting at His feet. It's too haunting to bear.

  • @9toonsis9 Not only that...but the vernacular of the Jewish people at that time was Aramaic. Unless you were a scholar, you did most of your prayers in Aramaic. Only certain verses were recited in Hebrew, mainly those which came directly from the Torah. Even now, we have prayers that are still in Aramaic.

  • @Gershom5746 Yeah, if you watch Passion of the Christ, you could understand plenty of words in Hebrew that sound very very similar to Aramaic, some are actually exactly the same, just a different pronunciation.

  • @xGoDxDeSiGNs because we IMPOSED aramaic on the hebrews..under talmudic law they HAVE to learn asurith(assyrian-aramaic) before they learn hebrew, they call it KTAV ASHURI(or how we say it ktavit ashuri- book of ashur) or BABYLONIAN TALMUD.hebrew and arabic are the YOUNGEST OF SEMITIC LANGUAGES. aramaic is what gave jews and arabs there language and thats why they both sound like a knockoff gypsy version of our language!

we gave this world so much to start out with and we get called barbarians

  • Sorry if this is a dumb question but am I right in saying that Aramaic is the language of the Assyrian people?

And how would you best sum up the term - Assyrian?

    Many thanks!

  • Aramaic IS the language of the assyrian people, there are several dialects! East that is spoken in Irac and Iran, west that is spoken in Turabdin and parts of suria, aswell as maulula dialect spoken by the arameans in sayednaya and maulula - the one most close to the one Jesus spoke. Since our dialect is HIGHLY influenced by akkadian words and we are assyrians we call our dialect assyrian. We as a people never called our language anything else in our own language.

  • I would like to know the difference betweeb aramaic version of the lord prayer.. even I don't understand is it the new testament was written in koine greek then why do people think aramaic was written the gospel of matthew?

  • The reason why is in Greek because one of the Greek language was a bible version for people to understand that spoke in Greek not the original translation like Aramaic.

  • aramaic was the original language of the text and then it was translated into greek. look it up.

  • This is so beautiful. The Lord is surely smiling. Thank you for sharing this with us. God Bless You.

  • Thank you God bless you I'm glad you like it.

  • Praise God and the Assyrian people! Beautiful words.

  • Thank you God bless you

  • KHAYA ATUR!!!!

    God bless you.

  • Thanks for sharing :)

  • I recited this prayer to bring peace to all of you. I would appreciate it if you accept that peace and not use the comments page for attacks and discussions. Thank you, God bless all

  • I am a member of the Mar Shimum Bar Sabbai parish in Flint Mi, est. 1939, but currently live in Ohio and am unable to attend services. There are no Assyrian people where I reside and I miss my people and family with every ounce of my existence. I listen to and recite along with this prayer often to remain close to my Assyrian heritage. Thank You for your posting and I think your voice is lovely, I can almost smell our incense as I close my eyes and listen. God Bless you...Eddie Yonan Jr.

  • Thank you , for this enlightenment ... we need much more of this insight, this look back to the Christ!

  • @Enaanaa

is there any way to learn how to recite like you did?

I am a complete Gentile form the other side of the world

  • Word. Shout out to all my Assyrians on youtube.

  • at of all the middle eastern languages i definitely like the aramaic (assyrian) language 1 reason it is my own language of coarse and 2 it was the oldest language in the world and jesuse our savior spoke it , it is beuatifullll tooo

  • @nebokinezer

me too do you know any free website that teaches the language well

I am a complete gentle form another side of the planet

  • God Bless The Assyrian People

  • Beautiful! I love the Middle-Eastern languages very much. And I especially love the way they sing. Thanks for posting this up! ^ ^

  • If the Jews suffered at the hands of the Assyrian in the old testment then shame on them, if they had obeyed the lord our God and served him only, they would not have been Judged by Him with his Rod of Iron.

  • Death cult? to whome do you cast your allegiance and where have you gone to and fro? What genocide do you speak of and who has suffered more Genocides than the Assyrian Christians? How many attacks have you seen on Israel of today by the Assyrians? Perhaps they are too weak today to commit such acts as the muslims do? no we are Christian Assyrians and we desire peace.

  • by definition, anyone who blasphemes the Holy Spirit is unrepentant because that man has rejected the work of the Spirit within him (thereby rejecting God). That is why it is the one unforgivable sin.

  • God looks favorably upon even one hour of repentance. There is no sin that man can commit where repentance cannot restore him to his proper glory with God. The same goes for all peoples and nations. We should rejoice that Assyria has renounced her old ways and chosen the way that brings glory to God.

If we were all to be judged by our histories (or the history of our ancestors), none would find salvation. All have corrupted the image of God, even the Hebrews.

  • Are you out of your mind? Check your bible. If you believe what it says you should be ashamed for calling yourself 'assyrian' you moron.

  • The Bible specifically states that the Assyria is blessed. Check it.

  • @danibel1 some prophets talk very agressive against our people. but it's normal, they where part of a defeated people. another part of the bible mourns for the great assyrian tree, for gods people, the creation of his hands

  • @SyrGen1 beautifully said my brother..the assyrian tree of life is where WE ALL CAME FROM..how does a tree grow? straight up and then bushels outwards in a 360 circle...we gave life to this world in hundreds of different aspects!

  • @nkirshenbaum

All race has their right to be proud without getting offended

yes they are Assyrian who were condemned by god in the old testament but here we have Assyria the new born christian blessed by god for they have the honor to own the language spoken by Jesus.

are you one of those ethnocentric narrow-minded guys from the bible-belt?

  • I'm an Ashurian and i'm proud jesus christ spoke my Ashurian(aramaic)language!!!!!!!!

  • @AshurLand The Assyrians have been extinct for over 2600 years...

  • this is beautiful

  • wow this gave my goosebumps! i cant belive jesus spoke this language! did you know the only people that can speak that language live in a small village in syria.thats it
