Re: the freeze frame because of not enough footage.

It is a good idea to allow ten seconds of camera roll before you shout 'action'. It allows the actor to get into the right frame of mind and also gives you a few extra frames which you may want to use. Those extra frames can be invaluable in the cutting room when it comes to pacing your movie

I like your trailer. Clever idea.

I think you could have held the shot at the end more. Maybe you did allow enough stillness before you cried 'action'. You could have edited a freeze frame onto the end of the shot to give you half a second more.

I like the look of your character. I get tired of the ‘Hollywood’ look. Your character does look like he has lived not been lifted from a charm school.

Good luck with the rest of your shoot if you are still in production.

Yes, the intent in your eye expression is stirring at the end. No BS, work on it. The right conviction in acting is so important.

It has a great sense of tension and intrigue, in visual contrast, and the sense of realism is alive, but not bam in your face. Plus that face (that is yours ?), is not a common mold as with the mainstream. I enjoyed it.

They guy is 'tic tocing' ie his arm swing matches his leg movement..left arm forward with left leg forward....a commom sign in military marching of a lack of co-ordinational ability....not good in an 'actor'....
