Mac get's attacked 2 times. Noone wants to make viruses for Mac, because it's a closed system. Linux on the other hand dosn't get attacked at all. That's a win. Mac is not "virus-proof". A hacker can hack it much easier then a Windows machine.

Guys from my experiance, i say not to buy this computer. You can get a much better deal than this mac. Plus, this computer overheats like shit. I was doing some simple browsing and after an hour it was burning. Also, this macbook pro has an i5 processor, intel graphics, and 4 gigs of ram for 1200. For 1000, you can get a sony vaio with an i7, Nvidia graphics and 4gbs of ram. aka a much better deal. Don't buy it im telling you.

I don't like apple because of its lack of gaming looks and small range of laptops. The looks of it may beat PC on some off its models but the amount of things compatible with a PC and the performance of a PC easily beats MAC, and 90 percent of computers out there are PC. @lonnyboy101 you can, but if you want more games like MW2, or Crysis you'll have to either make a partition in bootcamp, or buy parallels, or vmware fusion. if you're into WoW, Spore, Cod4, or Starcraft you can play them. also Steam just came out for macs a few months ago so expect to see more games being released.

@lonnyboy101 setting a certain amount of space in order to install other oses like Windows 7 or Ubuntu. Parrallels is like Bootcamp but you get more options. like running a Windows app on a Macs desktop or booting into Windows or Ubuntu. bootcamp which comes on every new Mac just boots you into Windows on start up. you can however change the settings and boot into OS X then if needed boot into Windows. you can make monthly payments if you want a imac or macbook/pro.

So when you actually store things such as videos and music permanently you are storing them on your hard drive. If you are worried about storage look at the specifications for the hard drive space.
