The Spanish version was only created because at the time of the Eurovision Song Contest, Kosovo Albanians had declared their independence from Serbia and the NATO and most EU countries who had spent time defending it in 1999, immeadiately recognized it. Spain has not and has been very vocal about not recognizing the state. The song Oro is about losing a loved one.  There is a slight message here. To Serbia, the loved one is Kosovo.

Las palabras dicen algo totalmente diferente en serbio, pero estoy de acuerdo contigo. Yo tambien prefiero aquella version...Sera mi gusto personal, pero la creo mas bella, y mas autentica. Aunque si, esta version tambien es muy linda. En cualquier idioma esta cancion, esta musica, y la voz de Jelena son pura perfeccion!
