Hey man! worked first time perfect on part B i went out the front saved it came back in and the rings are moving. But the rings are in perfect order (dragon/butterfly/dog) and when i go to put the claw in it rejects it saying that its in the wrong order but its in the right order, and idea why this is happening? thanks

dude plz my problem is bigger. im in a ps3 i killed the guy with a thunderbolt he flew away and now he is in the otherside of the door i cant pick up the diamond claw. im trapped: cant open the door, all my former saves are already in same situation, and i tried to leave and then come back and the f**** dragon dont come and pick me up he just fly but never gets down plz someone help i dont wanna restart all my progress

The button mashing wont work. i tried for 20 min as fast as i could. i also tried saving and turning it off but that didnt work either. the diamond claw will enter but the rings wont move still

@Surrpp try reloading a save outside the temple or run all the way out of the temple, save, restart, and reenter the temple. Let me know how it works out.

THANKS! I Used your advice and cox8043's advice... I left, let it auto save, turned off ps3, loaded auto save, went back through door, did combo 2 times incorrect than finally 3rd time I tried the right combo and it worked. Credit to both of you! :DDDD

@JujaiJujai If you're on PC, while in game press the tilde (~) key on the top left of your keyboard. Once the console opens up, type in "player.additem AB375 1" Without the quotation marks, and yes, include the spaces. It should give you one diamond claw so you don't have to run around looking for it.

if you're on ps3 or xbox, try going through the level again. Skyrim is glitched like hell.

this worked for me too:

1. Backtrack out of the area until it autosaves (you don't have to go all the way outside).

2. Turn off system, turn back on and go to system settings>memory>clear cache.

3. Run Skyrim, load that AUTOSAVE.

4. Return to the door, enter two incorrect combinations (and attempt to unlock it both times), then enter the correct Fox, Moth, Dragon then activate the claw.

and then - it didnt work for me, but i kept mashing and then tried the correct code and it worked!
